Why the Owner Chose East Beach
We fell in love with our condo when we were first married and it was our home. Once we got transferred away from St. Simons we could not bare to sell it, so we are sharing it with folks for a time so they can fall in love with St Simons too. We will be happy to share all the lovely area attractions with our guest. I am looking forward to retirement so I can again enjoy more time at the special location of St. Simons.

We love staying at our second HOME on St. Simons because it gives us the opportunity to fall in love again. This home is where we fell in love the at first and were married. It is a special place to us. Once you visit St. Simons you will always look forward to living on "Island" time.

I have a great husband who is now retired. We love our hide away. You can leave all your troubles on the main land . You can fall in love again which is what we do everytime we are there.

We were looking for a place to take our young children that was safe, affordable, and comfortable.We found it. There are no thoroughfares between you and the beach and it is safe enough that we let our 12 year old go back and forth independently. It is a beautiful area of the beach with plenty of room to establish a play area. We would see the regulars in the area and strike up aquaintances! The pool is very private and usually we were the only ones using it. I liked the proximity to the beach, my wife loved having the washer and dryer right there-so much more convenient than our week at a hotel in Savannah last year. The owners treat you like family and are so helpful. The condo is squeaky clean and even passed muster with my wife, who is very particular about neatness and cleanliness. It is a short drive to grocery store etc, though I would recommend your first scouting trip during the day. We got a little lost at night our first time but once oriented everything was easy. We loved the downtown shopping area, so quaint without the expected tourist mark up. The photos and description fail to measure up to what we saw and experienced during our week at St. Simons and I would recommend this affordable vacation spot to families of all ages! The only problem that staying there is that my wife now longs to leave our hot and humid North Georgia home and return!

The listing nor the pictures do justice. The property was very clean and well-maintained. The beach is just a step away. We played tennis, basketball, rode bikes, went kayaking, went shopping in the numerous boutiques, went for a movie, visited the light house and Fort Frederica. Enjoyed the pool and the beach. Highly recommend to eat at the Crab Shack. On the day we left we went to Savannah for the day. Everything was great and very relaxing. Even though we seem to have done so much, we had plenty of down time. Thanks for a great week. We were there July 3rd-11th. (Oh, there was no bumper to bumper traffic on the main land to the island and no traffic congestion on the island which was very pleasant)
