"Twin Palms" is a new single level, side-by-side ranch-style home located in a well-established, gated, middle class Bahamian neighborhood in Nassau on the east side of the Island that is about fifteen minutes from downtown Nassau and Paradise Island, home of "Atlantis". This location is perfect for those who want to be away from the noise of downtown crowds and traffic. "Yamacraw Beach" is close by and this is a favourite place for locals who live on the south-east side of New Providence Island. It's a beautiful beach - so take your lunch, beach bag and a good book.

My guests can park their vehicle right at the front door of the house, without having to walk miles down long hallways, up dozens of stairs, or having to use an elevator. Unloading your luggage, beach gear and groceries will be a breeze, as you are only steps away from opening the front door.

If you, or a member of your family is challenged with mobility issues, "Twin Palms" will be easy to navigate safely throughout the home and outside patio area.

Quiet and tranquil, the patio is the place to unwind after a busy day of beaching, sightseeing and shopping. You can rest easy out on the patio, or lie around in the hammock and relax to your heart's content surrounded by cool breezes and the peaceful sounds of the wildlands.

Since I live next door, I am available to assist you in person with information on "what to do and see" during your stay in Nassau and if you are not planning to rent a car, I would be happy to provide you with personalized tours of New Providence Island and to recommend the best places to dine, shop, beach and to introduce you to the culture, people and everything New Providence Island has to offer on a personal level.

Why the Owner Chose Nassau

I purchased my home in the Sea Breeze area (Eastern District) of New Providence Island as it was brand new, not far from the ocean and in a good residential area of Nassau in addition to being nearby to major grocery stores and the city's largest shopping centre, Marathon Mall.

The Unique Benefits at this Private Home

My home is located at the end of a small private street that is surrounded by "wildlands" making it very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The only sounds you hear are that of the birds, crickets and frogs. It's only a short bus ride to downtown Nassau or to Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. The house itself is new and very well maintained, in addition to being tastefully decorated in true Bahamian style.

I moved from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada to Nassau in October of 2008. As an "islander" in the Pacific Ocean I am delighted to now be an "islander" here in The Bahamas. The pristine beauty of the ocean, endless sunny days and noble, gentle people have all made for a graceful, peaceful new life here for me on New Providence Island. I have been in the hospitality and tourism sector for most of my career and am looking forward to personalizing your stay at "Twin Palms".
