A perfect family getaway that sleeps 6-8 but can accommodate larger family gatherings. Beds include two full-sized beds, 2 twins for the kids, a large sectional sofa with a queen size sleeper. Property is directly on the shoreline of Kentucky lake which is said to be the second largest man-made lake in the world (with more shoreline than Lake Superior.)
Kentucky lake is also one of the finest places in the world for crappie fishing. In season it is common for people to bring in 40+ crappie per day! Even if you don't have a boat, our dock would make a great spot for fishing with crappie beds a short cast away.
The home has three bedrooms (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and 2 full baths (1 up and 1 down.) There are two fantastic living areas (one upstairs and one downstairs). The living area upstairs is recently redecorated in bright "Carribean" colors with a cathedral ceiling. The upstairs living area is open to the dining area and full kitchen. With a wall of windows to view Kentucky Lake, large conversation piece couch and other chairs, it is the perfect spot for lounging around. The upstairs living area has TV/VCR.
The downstairs living area also has a magnificent view of the lake as well as a kids game table and TV/Playstation 2 plus more colorful decorations. The kids will feel like they have their own kingdom with the full bath and adjacent downstairs bedroom with two twin beds.
The upstairs living area is connected to the spacious enclosed second floor screened porch with seats and even ceiling fans. A fantastic place to enjoy the excellent lakeside view! And, if you would rather not be enclosed you can walk down from there to the beautiful wood deck which is also reachable by exiting a door in the downstairs living area.
The home is situated just over 6 miles from Miller Memorial golf course which has been ranked among the top designed public courses in the nation by Golf Digest and the best thing is that green fees are only fifteen dollars!
Pets are NOT allowed. NO smoking indoors. Inquire about bed linen. Towels are NOT provided.
