Pictures do not do it justice! We loved the comfortable furnishings, well-stocked kitchen, luxury of housekeeping services once a week & view of the lake out the back. Landscaping & beauty of flowers blooming provided a great place to walk. Convenient to all types of shopping, including upscale, outlet, grocery & great restaurants (favorite Stinky's Fish Camp E. on 30-A). Felt very safe in this gated community with 24/7 security, owners very helpful & good to work with. Just don't take too much, as we did!

This is an excellent condo. The furniture, kitchen and everything is so up to date. The condo was very clean, the housekeeper did an excellent job! The condo is not far from the beach (15 min walk). We rented a golf cart, the kids really enjoy riding it, but we stayed mostly at the pool. The Sandestin is very good place to stay. It is so nice and clean everywhere and alot of employees on work to keep it in shape. We enjoyed the Baytowne Harbor - just a short drive with the golf cart. Enjoyed the beautiful fireworks at the beach on the 4th of July. Page was very helpful with taking care of everything. This is a great value!
Owner response:We are always so glad to have these great reviews. This family came all the way from Norway to stay 2 weeks, having booked the villa a year in advance! Of course, they got the 2 week discount and and an extra mid-visit cleaning. I must claify about the golf cart. Carts are only allowed in Sandestin if they are licensed and insured by the property owner. We arranged for the guests' extended family to rent the villa next to us. They owned the golf cart. We choose not to have this liability. That is one of the ways we keep our rates lower than others!

This was our 3rd visit to Sandestin (which we love) and our first stay at this condo. The condo was absolutely perfect for us (2 adults and 3 teens). When we arrived the unit was very clean and and in great condition. We utilized the two twin beds for the two girls in the guest BR and the sleeper sofa in the LR for my son. The master was roomy and has a nice view of the pond. It was also great to have 2 1/2 baths to accomodate the family. The condo is very close to the pool but we spent most of the time on the beach which is just a short drive to Finz. The kids really enjoyed just being able to walk out the back door to fish. It is also great to be able to use the beach chairs/ umbrellas that Page has at the condo instead of buying them or paying large fees to rent. This was a great vacation for us and we look forward to staying in this condo again. We searched for hours on VRBO and other sites before we chose this condo and it was everything that Page desribed. The business end of renting from Page was very pleasant and smooth and we found this to be a good deal! Thanks- John
Owner response:It is so nice to have guests who appreciate our efforts to make our villa the nicest rental around and the best value. We look forward to having this family return.

We had a great time in Sandestin and VRBO #25583 did not disappoint, and is pretty much just as nice as the pictures in the listing show. If it were our place, there is little we would change. It was very nice, and much better kept than a nearby development we have satyed at over the years. The neighborhood was nice and well kept. We will recommend it and want to go back again soon.
Owner response:We are grateful to have guests like Jill and Steve who appreciate our Beachwalk Villa. Since it is our home away from home, we have made every effort to make it as comfortable and well stocked as home. We look forwad to adding them to our long list of return guests.

My family just had the luxury of staying 2 weeks at this property. Everything about the rental of the unit was easy! The Robertsons took care of everything professionally and quickly. They provided all the information we needed to check-in/check-out and what to do during our stay. They even provided information about how to use the universal remote for the tv in the living room. The unit was clean and well stocked with basic necessities. We love staying at the Beachwalk villas because of their proximity to everything. This particular unit was quite close to the Beachwalk pool. We enjoyed getting up early every morning and walking/biking either around the Sandestin property or to the beach on the many sidewalks provided. We love the Baytowne Wharf area - full of restaurants and shops - our favorite restaurant was the "Another Broken Egg Cafe" where they serve breakfast/brunch/lunch. There's so much to do there that it never entered our minds to cancel our reservation when the threat of oil came. We did experience some tar balls at the beach while we were there, but the beach was only closed to swimming due to that once during our whole 2 week trip. The lagoon out behind the unit kept my husband occupied while I cooked dinner each evening. He enjoyed the catch and release fishing. Eventhough he only caught a stick, he had a good time. The beds were comfortable and I never once missed my bed at home. Being able to bring our 4 legged family member, Gizmo, was an added plus. Dogs aren't allowed on the beach without a permit, but there were plenty of other places to walk him around for exercise. Everywhere we took him was very "pet friendly".I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who likes to stay active and enjoy many things other than just the beach while on vacation. Excellent trip! Can't wait to return another time!
Owner response:How nice it is that renters like these appreciate what we do to make everything perfect! They were so gracious to come on down, even though we had the threat of oil. We assured them of a refund, of course, if the beach was closed. She was so kind to keep me posted on the situation there, so I knew I had rented to a new friend. We always give a good discount to encourage folks to stay for 2 weeks, because it is more than twice as renewing as 1. It is so great to get to that first Friday, and know that you don't have to pack up and go home the next morning. In addition, our wonderful housekeeper goes in for a full clean, so the second week starts all fresh! We have started our 8th year, and the record of sold out weeks continues!

We had a wonderful time because the owners furnished beach chairs, umbrella's, a fishing pole and games. We also felt "at home" because the owners have comfortable furniture with plenty seating. They provided Internet service which is a must these days. The owners were in touch with us and we felt like they really cared about "our having a wonderful time". The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. What more could you ask for?
Owner response:Oh dear, this is our first less than perfect score in all these years on VRBO and Home Away. I know that things can't always be perfect, but we strive to be! I haven't had any negative feedback from this 2-week renter. However, I will say that they followed a month of Spring Break families, before we had vacant time for deep cleaning, which has now been done. We will do our best to be perfect from now on, and treasure our large group of returning guests.

This was our second time to spend a week at Page & Jerry's Beachwalk Villa. It is equipped with everything needed in a home-away-from-home, and we can't say enough about the convenient location to the beach, restaurants, and shopping! Most of all though, we like being close to the lake because fishing is two steps away from the back porch (literally). We also enjoy the morning ritual of having coffee on the back porch with our dog (pet friendly) watching the ducks swim by...very peaceful place.

Absolute joy to work with Page who makes renting her house a breeze. Pet friendly, kid friendly (games in closet downstairs were a big hit on rainy days) house on the beach side of 98 in Sandestin Resort. The house was super clean and very well stocked with everything you could need. Our 4 & 6 year olds loved feeding the ducks each morning at the lake right off the back door. You can walk or ride the tram to the beach and/or Bayside. The pool is only about 3 houses down & was heated (much needed the first of March). Everything about this rental was top notch and super easy. There were even dog bowls for our four legged kids in the kitchen! I have rented many places in Destin/Sandestin and will definately come back to this house. I honestly can't think of one thing negative to say about this house. Well, there was one problem...we had to go home! None of us wanted to leave! Thanks to Page & Jerry for a wonderful trip. We can't wait to come back!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our daughter, who recently broke her foot, came for a few days also so the parking right in front of the door was very convenient and helpful. The townhome is clean and spacious. The beds and seating are very comfortable. We most enjoyed the fishing. Just step out the back door, bait your hook, and fish!!

We stayed in the Robertson's condo last September and truly enjoyed ourselves. We chose their condo because they allowed us to bring our Yorkie--that was a HUGE plus. The condo really does have all the amenities of home. The bed was very comfortable and the lake view was great. Page is such a nice person and I enjoyed getting to know her, if only by telephone. Thanks for making us feel so welcome! Dale & Stephanie Slack

The townhouse was perfect for us (and our dogs) to get away and relax. Sandestin is a beautiful resort and this villa was exactly as advertised and stocked with anything you might want! The neighborhood is beautifully landscaped and a great place to take long walks with the dogs. The owner was prompt in replying to my questions and great to work with. We are so grateful for pet-friendly vacation options like this villa that are available today for people with well trained dogs. We'd recommend this lovely property to anyone who is happy to be close to the beach but not on it. It is great for people who have pets that are well behaved and accustomed to traveling.
Owner response:We are so fortunate to have guests like these, who become long term returning renters. They make up the majority of our rentals. Our "pet guests" are always so well behaved that we have never found it necessary to charge a pet fee, or even a deposit. Page

This is an excellent rental property for someone traveling with pets. Tile floors, in-house dog bowls and patios front and rear with the living room patio literally 15 feet from the water (lakeside) and the front patio walled and gated, perfect for pets that need to be outside but controlled. The cul de sac is quiet and not densely urban. A pool is located very close by. The unit is located just behind the small Sandestin Market mall and close enough to the beach to walk in about 10 minutes. The kitchen is one of the better equipped ones I have come across. There is a closet filled with games, and an outdoor storage area that has sand chairs and beach toys. There is no formal check in, just a key coded lock which makes it so easy especially when arriving at late hours. I am not a huge fan of Sandestin properties but this particular area is quiet, well tended, and waterfront. We were glad to find a clean and perfect home that also was able to house our pet. The owner also worked with us on dates, as we were bucking the usual 7 day rental week.
Owner response:It is very encouraging to have guests appreciate our hard work to make the villa comfortable for families and their pets. We have tried to make it as nice and well equipped as our own home, so that we will enjoy being there, too. We believe that our location is the best in Sandestin--close to the beach, far away from any noise, and just steps from the pool. Our best compliment is that about 1/2 of our renters return each year, and we stay booked far in advance. We wish that more of the guests who write glowing reports in our guest book there, would take time to put them on the website also. Thank you.

What a blessing for a "family" vacation (including our pet). Your location offered pools, shopping, feeding the ducks & turtles, fishing, restaurants, books, magazines and a game closet on site! Then the short drive/walk to the beach and of course all there is to do at Baytowne Wharf, we had plenty to keep us busy from 3 yrs old to 20-30-40-58 yrs old!! Thank you for sharing your home with us. We're already looking forward to another visit.

I thoroughly enjoyed my month's stay in your Beachside Villa. As did the friends that visited me. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed and then some.......even two dog dishes. The decor was very tastefully done, with plenty of couches and chairs on which to sit. The view of the small lake was beautiful and enjoyed seeing the ducks, blue heron, and sea gulls drifting by. The pool, which is heated, was close by and a peaceful place to relax and swim. I loved walking to the beach every morning...even caught the sunrise one day. The big plus is the villa is pet friendly so I could bring my golden retriever with me. We plan on renting the villa again in February. Barb Van Cleave

We just spent a wonderful week in your beautiful villa. Everything we needed was provided and it was truly a home from home. The view across the lake was quite beautiful and the beaches were beyond our expectations. I am sure that we will return and will definitely tell our friends about your property. The owners were pleasant to deal with and were extremely concerned that everything was just right ... it was! Thank you so much hope to visit you again.

We have been going to Destin for over 15 years and this Beachwalk Villa was the most fun ever. Great location, nicely furnished, fantastic lake with ducks, no elavators and one of the best features; the owner is a pet lover so we got to bring our 5 month old Yorkshire Terrior who is being kennel trained. A big, big thank you and yes, we will be back for another stay.
