High House is an environmentally friendly vacation villa. All the electricity is renewable, non-polluting solar and wind power. Operating since the late 1970's on solar energy, the house has been practicing and upgrading their system for years.
The house has 3 sets of battery banks to store the energy. The roof is covered with solar panels that fill the battery banks to keep things going 24 hours a day. The power from the batteries is inverted to provide 120 volt ac power. Two solar hot water heaters on the roof ensure hot showers and hot water in the kitchen.
High House collects rainwater off the roof that is collected in cisterns for storage. A high tech water filtering system has been installed in line to ensure that water is safe for drinking. The house has low flush toilets installed with a composting system to help save on water usage.
As a back up to the solar power, a generator has been installed away from the house that automatically comes on in case of cloudy days or high energy use. It cannot be heard from the house. The house encompasses eco-friendly living with modern appliances and an island vibe.

Low Season: Apr 16-Nov 30 .. $1120/week for 2 people
Additional government tax of 8% is added to the total rental.
A deposit of 50% is required to reserve the house.
Additional guest High Season - $45/person/night.
Additional guest Low Season - $40/person/night.
Children 10 years & younger: $20/night.
