There is a trail to the beach that only takes 5 minutes and puts you on a stretch of sandy beach that is usually little used.

- Minimum Age Limit for Renters : 18 years old minimum age, primary renter signs agreement to be responsible for all guests. This includes but not limited to pet cleanup which will be considered DAMAGE if not THOROUGHLY cleaned.

Wonderful location OUT of the village, quiet, best beach because of less use, solitude abounds.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
Away from the crowds in the village and hotels. Beach is often unoccupied by others, and we have a wetlands on one side and a small forested area on the other to further the feeling of solitude and relaxation.
Nearby, large forest area, elk and deer are known to wander into the area.

The cottage was even nicer than we expected. We stayed in January, so we used the wood stove every night and that was just perfect. Roger helped us on the phone once with an issue and he was very helpful. Upstairs is only accessible via a very narrow circular stairway, it may be tricky for some folks. The Drift Inn is a must for any meals you may want to eat out. Take note: we had no cell service (Verizon) from here, but it starts working as soon as you are in town. We are very happy with this rental!!!

My daughter and I traveled from Washington to meet my parents who traveled from California. The place was just as described. Clean and cozy. The upstairs sitting area was wonderful for watching the waves and the trail to the beach was fun for all. My dog was welcome and she had a great time with the family. Thanks Roger

If you are looking for a quiet, homey cottage with all amenities that comfortably sleeps 4, this is the place for you. Just a short walk (across Route 101) from miles of empty sands, this house is ideally situated in the middle of the most beautiful section of the central Oregon coast. Our teenagers turned from grunting cavemen to excited kids again as they explored tide pools, hiked forest trails, watched the rabbits and deer that were frequent visitors to the yard, and played in the sand. We came home with a bag full of shells, stones, and driftwood and hearts yearning to go back to the ocean. Thanks to Roger for offering this delightful cottage as a vacation rental.

We just spent 7 nights and had an amazing time! Our children loved the yard to play in and the path to the beach!! they also loved to watch the birds, bunnies and deer that came into the yard. The owners are very nice people who make you feel very comfortable! This was perfect for our family of 5!!

We spent 4 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. It is in a great location to access tidepools and the beach across the road was great. If you are looking for lots of town activity this place is not the place for you. It is a quiet area (anyway for the time we were there). Very nice place to get away from the hecticness of life.

Our short 2 days at this wonderful home was so relaxing, we took our 2 dogs and our daughters here for a get away. We fell in love with the beach just a short little walk down a nice trail. We spent most of our time upstairs looking out the big window and enjoying the ocean. Our little dog enjoyed laying on the window seat watching the many birds and little rabbits in the yard. We met Roger the owner and his cute dog John, we had arrived early as he was finishing up the mowing he showed our girls where the trail was and got us a few more lawn chairs. Our last day there we were already planning a family vacation here again but this time for a week with the rest of the family we are so looking forward to June

We stayed 3 nights and 4 days at this cozy cottage, and it was great! The house had everything we needed, the weather was perfect,(shorts, t-shirts, sandals), and the private beach we had all to ourselves...plus our 7 lb. dog went nuts on the sandy beach! The owners were extremely nice and helpful, and we hope to go back soon! Highly recomended! The accomadations were well worth the money. Thanks so much Roger! Sending out this website to friends and family! So sorry we forgot to physically sign the guest book...next time for sure!!!

We recently spent 7 days at this little cottage. If you want to be away from the city where its quiet and private, this is it. Great yard to come back to after a day at the beach or state-park exploring.Lots of pretty flowers, birds, and bunnies. Beach access path provided by owner is really nice and scenic too. Although the house was still in the middle of some TLC and spruce up, we loved it and love it more since we have seen recent pics on-line. This is an awesome deal, owners are extremly nice and accomodating. We cant wait till our next visit!
