Meticulously remodeled architect owned 3 bedroom, 1 bath house in the Seattle neighborhood of Ballard. Within walking distance of great restaurants, coffee shops, farmer's market and the finest pastries this side of Paris. Also nearby are the beautiful and pristine waters of the Puget Sound, with incredible views of the Olympic Mountains, where you can bike ride on the Burke Gillman Trail, rent a boat, fly a kite, swim or just walk along the sandy beach at Golden Gardens Park.
Situated on a non-through street in a quiet residential neighborhood, the house is light and open, with kitchen windows overlooking an artfully landscaped back-yard with fruit trees, barbecue and partially covered deck. Or sit on the front steps and watch the hummingbirds fly in our lovingly cared for flower garden.
The contemporary kitchen has a Wolf stove, Bosch dishwasher and reclaimed bowling lane countertops. There are hardwood floors and radiant heat throughout the house. Two bedrooms are downstairs; one with a full bed and the other with bunk beds. The upstairs bedroom is a large open room with a queen sized bed and office area.

Why the Owner Chose Ballard
We are currently living in Houston and hope to move back to our Seattle house in a few years. Thankfully we are able to get back to Seattle in the summer. The Puget Sound is within walking distance and the mountains are just a short drive away. Seattle is a wonderful city - the best of both worlds.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Great food within walking distance, the view across the sound to the Olympic mountains is amazing, great place to garden and admire others gardens, we live in the city but it feels like you could be miles away.
