We greatly enjoyed staying in this cabin. You could not ask for a more convenient location, it is literally 0.1 mi from the ski lifts and less than 2 miles from the beach and casinos. The pool table and hot tub were a big hit with the kids and the adults enjoyed sitting out on the back porch next to the hot tub. Very peaceful and relaxing. The property is in good shape, everything works and has a great TV in the living room and internet access. Additional TVs in other rooms were a bonus!!

Loved the beautiful A frame...very unique and very comfortable. The owner also is an extremely friendly and polite lady who answered all my questions very nicely and believe me I had a lot of them to ask. Situated amongst the gorgeous pine trees, this is a Cabin I would like to get away to every year, away from the brick and morter we see around day in day out.

wow, this place need s a makeover, like seriously maybe they should call that tv show where they tear it down & build a new one in 7 days. "move that bus" more like time to go to the dump folks! theres so much debri & garbage around the house & property i thought i was back on my daddys farm in kansas, he never threw away anything. i was amazed that the snow didnt cover it all up, isnt it illegal to have 3 broken washing machines in the yard? and the wires omg, dont bring kids , that place was sparkin all night i kept hearing the toaster pop & flames shot out of the wall at my like when i was at universal studios... oh ya it looked like blood in the hottub, if you want to have a weekend from hell rent it...

Owner response:This is a completely fraudulent review. We had no guests checked in on Feb 2, 2011. Looks like the reviewer has mistaken the house since we certainly do not have any broken washing machines in the yard.

My family and I have stayed at Heavenly Paradise a couple of times now and each time it gets better. This past time we walked through the door to find the house completely decorated for Christmas, it was truly magical. The house is well taken care of, we feel very blessed to have found such a special place to stay year after year. We had so much fun this past time and felt so at home we even stayed an extra night. The owners are constantly adding to the value of the house. The kids loved having their own DVD in there room so they could watch Christmas movies. The house is perfect for families. There is so much for the kids to do without even leaving the house. We went sledding, pool, and played games at the kitchen table. The location allows for one parent to go to the mountain for a half day, come back to the house have lunch and then allow the other parent to up and ski the rest of the day. We will for sure be back next year.

I am glad to write a review for this cabin based on our pleasant experience and stay last winter (Dec 2010). The cabin has all the amenities and is spacious enough to provide a pleasant stay. Our family had 10 people including 4 kids and we were nicely accomodated. The hot tub and pool table were nice additions and kept us all entertained. We are avid skiers and the proximity of this cabin (walking distance!!!) from the heavenly ski lifts was a bonus with the kids and adults. We will certainly go back again. Thanks for renting this out to us and making this a memorable time for my family.

The central location made everything just a few minutes away, and the views were incredible! Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had during our stay at your Heavenly cabin. The accommodations were 5 star! From the exceptionally well appointed kitchen to the pool table, games and the hot tub - everything was top notch and I can't think of anything we needed that wasn't provided.

Our 7-night stay was so comfortable that we were feeling like we were at home. I recommended this place to friends and family and hope you did see some of them book your cabin. The best feature of your cabin is the location (so close to Heavenly) and the amenities you provide. The pool table was a super attraction from day one and so was the hot tub. Please keep up the excellent work and do send our compliments to your cleaning and maintenance team (especially Marv) who was very courteous and helpful during our stay. We hope to visit Tahoe again and rent this cabin soon.

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was the perfect location to Heavenly skiing and still so close to town. We loved the backyard and enjoyed building a sled run. The house had plenty of room and we really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Kept us entertained throughout the day and night. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

This was the perfect cabin for our group of friends to all meet together and go skiing. The place is maintained spotless clean and everything works like a charm. We arrived on a Thursday evening and stayed the weekend and an additional night. We wanted a late checkout and the owners were very flexible. Immaculate pool table, hot tub and amazing fireplace. My friends and I have all agreed to visit the cabin again the summer of 2011. This was one fun fun fun place. BTW, I visit Tahoe at least once a year and have never seen such a nicely maintained cabin ever before. Another tip: This cabin is literally walking distance from the ski lifts so that's a plus all of us enjoyed.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We rented this house last winter and had nothing but problems from the time we arrived. The garbage disposal turned on by itself and when trying to turn it off flames shot out of the wall. The fridge had to be unplugged so trying to keep our newly purchased food cold for the 12+ hours it took for someone to come out and take a look at the electrical was challenging. The electrical in this house is a nightmare and I'm sure not up to code. My daughter brought her new baby and the room they were staying in had a comforter that looked like a wild animal had gotten to it. The hot tub was in dire need of chemicals and the kitchen was lacking in cookware. If going by the pictures this place looks nice and warm but we were so disappointed. After asking for a partial refund of our stay we were denied any money back and were told "since you got a low rate on rent we will call it even", WHAT? Our family vacation was totally ruined. Stay clear unless your a contractor looking for work.

Owner response:We are not able to locate a booking for this person for Jan 4, 2010 and are surprised to see this appears in the review section for our cabin. The cabin has over seventy check-ins per year and has everything running up to code. In the event any appliance is malfunctioning, we have a maintenance team that addresses all issues promptly. Please verify.

This cabin is at a fabulous location - just one block from the Heavenly ski lifts and minutes away from the casinos and the lake. We spent a weekend with family in Dec 2009 and had a great time. The adults in our family were well occupied with the pool table and hot tub and the kids had a blast playing in the huge open space in the backyard. Everything was arranged well and functioned as described. The check-in process and descriptions provided were so helpful that we felt like we had been there before. We got some timely help from the maintenance manager in putting chains on our car tires ... thanks to the owner for making the calls and helping us out. Overall, very comfortable, clean, well maintained and spacious cabin. Highly recommended.
