My family and I just returned from having a great vacation in North Redington Beach, Fl. What made this trip one of our best vacations ever was the beautiful gulf front condo that we stayed in. The condo was everything promised in the internet listing and more. The unit was very spacious and had upgraded appliances, dining room and a beautiful porch to watch the sunset. The kids loved the 50 inch TV in the media room and we loved the 42” flat screen in the master. The owners even provided beach chairs, beach toys, grill and a bicycle for our use. I would highly recommend this unit for a Florida vacation.

This was a well maintained condo with very comfortable furnishings. The master bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I took a bath with a view of the gulf, went to bed with the sound of waves and awoke to a beautiful gulf view. All bedrooms are a good size with a balcony. In fact every room is spacious...even the laundry room ! I appreciated the fact that the bunk beds had a box spring and mattress rather than cheap foam bedding. Unlike many gulf front condos, this one had upscale furnishings and space, space, space in the kitchen and dining room. A huge tiled balcony was perfect for watching the sunset. The layout and size of this condo is perfect for a large family or group of friends who each desire private areas or want to all hang out in the kitchen at the same time !

Grandparents with two toddlers

We just spent a week at this condo with our two toddler granddaughters who live in Clearwater. We wanted to be right on the beach as it is easier to carry all the paraphanalia two toddlers require. When we arrived, we found a note from housekeeping that linens were in the washer and dryer. The dryer was stuffed and the linens all twisted and still wet and the washer full. We then had to dry the items and make up the twin beds. A small matter, but if you are tired and have fussy children; it's not something you want to do upon arriving. We knew the unit only had queen beds, but as owners of beachfront condos on the Gulf coast that we rent; we were still amazed that in a unit this size there was no king-sized bed in the master. The lack of a BBQ grill was an irritant as no one wants to purchase one for a week or bring it in their vehicle. On a plus side, the unit is very spacious and offers beautiful views. The folks we met there were all owners and glad to see just a small family renting the unit and not "hordes", to use their words. I would recommend it , especially for a family.

Owner response:I actually did the housekeeping and I was guilty of leaving clean wet towels in the washer and sheets in the dryer. It is not the normal way a guest will find the condo. We have, in the past, provided upwards of 35 bath towels and 8 sets of sheets for our guests. Unfortunetly, the guests prior to the reviewer, used ALL of the towels and sheets versus doing a few loads of laundry. It was an impossible task to have all of this laundry done in the four hours between renters, unless we would have delayed the reviewers check-in time. We certainly did not want to do that. In hindsight I should have taken the wet towels and sheets home with me and left just 16 towels and 6 sets of sheets.To alleviate that issue going forward we now provide 16 bath towels, 6 sets of sheets, plus adequate beach towels. Regarding the grill. There is a grill in the cabana. Guests, as stated in the VRBO listing, need to provide their own charcoal which is available at a grocery store down the street. The reason we do not make the twin beds is that many times they are not used. In late 2010 the twin beds are being removed and replaced with a rentable roll-away bed.I appreciate the suggestion about the king bed and will look at that during the off season. Finally, I would like to say that the reviewer nearly destroyed the built in microwave. They burnt popcorn so badly that we had to use a special solvent to clean it and remove the smell. However, we decided to refund their full deposit because we know the microwave incident was an accident. They also left a toilet clogged versus using the heavy duty plunger available.

Amazing beachfront condo offering lots of space!

We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at this Ocean 12 site. We were an extended family of four adults and two young children and loved having all of the space this condo afforded. The online pictures and descriptions were bang-on accurate - no surprises. Three big, comfy bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, our own in-suite laundry room and garbage chute, two separate living spaces in which to relax, plenty of cable TVs (to accommodate every age groups' viewing needs), a truly gourmet kitchen, and a huge deck just metres from the water's edge with a table large enough for outdoor eating... what more could we have asked for?!? Plus the rental process was easy and swift, the price was right, and we really enjoyed working with the Agents, who were friendly and very helpful, answering all of our questions at the time of booking and following up upon our arrival and departure. The building was super quiet and we honestly hardly saw any of our neighbours on the property, although the other cars in the parking lot indicated occupancy. And the location was great, with lots of nearby family-friendly restaurants and grocery stores, and an outlet mall just an hour's drive south, where we spent our one rainy day contributing to the American economy. If there was any "down side", it was the lack of warmth in the pool, due to a broken heater that was never repaired during our stay (at no fault of the Unit owners... so we just convinced ourselves that it was "refreshing", and it forced us to enjoy the warmer ocean waters while we could), and the lack of storage space at the beach level for sand-covered toys, boogie boards, etc., as then they always had to be rinsed off and dried before bringing them upstairs. (The Unit owners reserve the cabana space for their personal belongings, and don't provide any beach chairs or toys; an issue which a trip to the nearby dollar store quickly resolved.) Two very small inconveniences for an otherwise amazing vacation rental. We will definitely be back!

Owner response:We have now made the secured cabana available to our guests. It is located adjacent to the pool and is a great place to store your beach chairs, floats etc.

The unit was everything that the ad stated. our entire family was very comfortable and the easy access to the beach was wonderful. very nicely furnished. Flat panel TV was a joy in the master bedroom.
