Located near Cobble Hill Forest Reflections, Luxury Bed & Breakfast is only a short 45 minute Drive from Downtown Victoria over the breathtaking Malahat Drive.
The Cowichan Valley has it all - farms , forests, lakes and rivers, hills, mountains, trails, and wonderful ocean beaches. From our estate you can cycle or hike, and it is also a short drive to the Oceanside village of Cowichan Bay , two world class golf courses, and the Island’s only trout ranch if you are looking for some great trout fishing. We are also a short distance from Duncan for shopping, and Chemainus with its world famous murals.
On our estate you can relax and unwind in our tranquil forest setting You are invited to relax on our decks, take a stroll through our wonderful gardens (featured previously on the Cowichan Valley Garden tour) or sit and relax with a book or glass of wine around our beautiful little lake complete with dock & trout. Our gardens and lake have rapidly become a haven for hummingbirds, songbirds, and many other feathered friends including eagles, owls, osprey, blue herons, and kingfishers to name a few. Maybe you will see them too! And don’t forget the deer and rabbits who like to share the garden as well!
The Carriage House Suite offers privacy and comfort. Located on its own on the upper level of our carriage house. It is over 750 sq. ft. in size offering a very large spacious bedroom with Queen sized Brass Bed & Pillow-top Mattress, sitting area and full private en-suite. It has an ultra modern kitchen and living room area to sit and relax. Both the Bedroom & Living room have color cable TV. From the entrance you are able to see our wonderful little lake and some of our gardens. If total luxury is what you seek then look no further we also have a over 900 Sq.ft. Colin & Debra Perriman would like to welcome you to our home. We are one the newest Bed & Breakfast & Vacation Suites to open in the Cowichan Valley area of Vancouver Island and are hard at work to make it one of the nicest and most comfortable Vacation suites for you to enjoy. We purchased the vacant 5 acre forested property in 2002. We previously lived in Victoria and Cobble Hill and had been searching several years for that "perfect area" in which to build our dream home. We had a house plan in mind for several years and had an architect modify them to incorporate our Vacation Suites. A design which would allow our guests to relax, enjoy our gardens and wonderful pond, and to allow the maximum privacy for guests as well. We completed construction on the home in September 2004 and just completed our Carriage House Vacation Suite in April 2009. We utilized as much of the surrounding forest as we could in the home using Maple, Alder, & Wild Cherry from trees on the property for most of our flooring, trim and cabinets. We also utilized Cedar from our property for much of our ceiling finishing and overhead finishing on our verandah and Douglas Fir to frame the house with. Although this process took longer to complete the home what with hiring a portable saw mill on site as well as getting the materials kiln dried and finished we feel the end result was well worth the wait! We hope you like the results as well and will choose to come and stay with us "in the forest". We hope to see you soon!
