This hillside jungle retreat overlooks the north river valley with panoramic views from the mountains down to the ocean. A comfortable five minute walk takes you to town or the beach. Casa Amanecer was designed and built by an artist and is a refreshing design of tropical living. As mild ocean breezes and warm temperatures are the norm year round this villa acclimates its visitors beautifully to the natural environment.
The upstairs kitchen, living area, and half bath is covered with a huge palapa allowing it to take advantage of the warm open air and wonderful ocean breezes. The two spacious downstairs bedrooms are enclosed with comfortable beds, secure storage and bright colors and share a full bath and palapa covered veranda. The new separate open air casita sits above the pool area, overlooking the oasis from the hillside with a comfortable king bed, bath and outside shower. The casita reflects much of the designers inspiration with extensive mosaic talavera tiling under the large palapa.
The third palapa tops the terraced steps on the hillside above for tranquil ocean/jungle viewing. Take a pitcher of Margaritas and enjoy the spectacular sunsets from this romantic hideaway. The dipping pool area is surrounded by a spacious patio with plenty of room for sunbathing, reading or socializing. There is also a cabana overlooking the pool/patio for relaxing. Casa Amanecer is the perfect combination of being close to town and beach but with the feel of a secluded jungle paradise.
The upper level of the main house is open air with kitchen, bath, living, dining and patio area. The kitchen has stove, no oven, new large refrigerator with top freezer, coffee maker, blender, toaster, cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery and purified water is supplied. Linens and towels are provided (except for beach). Downstairs; One bedroom has a king bed plus double bed with armoire.

Why the Owner Chose Sayulita
This property has a wonderful sense of privacy while still being very close to town. The lot is very large and has three structures. The landscaping is wonderful and makes you feel as though you are in a jungle paradise. The upstairs is open air which takes advantage of the breeze that comes up the river from the ocean, which is nice as the enclosed houses can get very hot and stuffy.
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
My friends all say that this property reminds them of Swiss Family Robinson. It is a large setting with three structures, paths, small bridges, beautiful landscaping, and very large bedrooms. If feels as though you are far from the hustle and bustle but are within a 5 minute walk to town and the beach.

We LOVED Casa Amanacer!!

We stayed at Casa Amanacer in January of 2011 and had a GREAT time! This was shortly after the landslide, so the Casa looked a bit different than in the photos but it was a great fit for our group, nonetheless. The landslide seemed to have taken quite a toll on the greenery surrounding the Casa, but it didn't diminish it's charm or comfort. There were seven of us and we had plenty of room to come together or to have a bit of privacy. The casita is gorgeous and I loved falling asleep listening to the waves and waking up to the birds....not to mention feeling like you're showering in the jungle! We cooked in most nights and found everything we needed in the kitchen. The housekeeper came regularly and the gardener came by three times during the week to water the plants and keep the dipping pool clean. At one point, we started to run low on water, but a quick call to the management was all it took and we had more water delivered within an hour. For all seven of us, this was our first trip to Sayulita and we couldn't believe how we lucked out on location. Casa Amanacer is situated perfectly to allow a bit of privacy but is still just a quick walk to town or to the beach (five to ten minutes). We did not have any problems with security or theft (although we did make good use of the safe for laptops, cameras, money and passports). We were celebrating a birthday and had wonderful evenings hanging by the pool, grilling out...and even had a pinata on the deck for the big day. We loved Casa Amanacer and can't wait to get back! Highly recommended!!!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+.

I stayed at Casa Amancer early 2011 and LOVED it! The house is spacious and comfortable, and gave a good sense of privacy between areas. The property managers and other staff were great and very responsive - they made sure we had everything we needed. The house was stocked with equipment needed to cook simple food, which we took advantage of most nights. I loved the open design of the house, allowing a sense of connection with the jungle. The trees surrounding the house are full of beautiful tropical birds and you can hear the sound of the waves from the lounge in the evening. It was a short walk to the beach and stores.
