They are joined by decks and courtyards, and are nestled in a beautiful, 4 acre, wooded and garden setting, within our 100 year old, 40 acre, WORKING FAMILY FARM. Majestic Mt. Hood and surrounding orchards are the backdrop to this landscape. All of the houses are very unique and artsy and furnished with antiques, brass beds, premium linens, stained glass windows and fixtures. We rent to large or small groups.
The Retreat is the perfect place to have your WEDDING, or your FAMILY REUNION. It's also the perfect place to come for a romantic getaway for 2 !!! No Pets Allowed.
AMMENITIES INCLUDE: a beautiful 18x38 ft, sparkling, maintained, solar heated pool (summer months only), 2 Jacuzzi spas, a unique outdoor Sauna, 2 firepits with plenty of chopped firewood available, acres of walking trails that meander thru numerious and beautifully maintained gardens. A Bhudda Garden, with it's tranquil waterfall and Kaoi pond is perfect for reflection and meditation. Further down the trail you will find the Wood Fairy Garden, with it's enchanting little hobbit houses and fairy fountain. Sit in the tree swing and enjoy the" Enchantment" and Romantic and Amazing views of Mt Hood and the Upper Hood River Valley. In the Spring there is a multitude of Azailas, Rhododendrons, and a river of Daffodils, that wind up thru the Wooded Meadow, Dogwoods flower here and there, Tulips line the fence, and if you couple this with the Apple and Pear Blossems at blossem time, and the many different kinds of birds that stop along their way, then you truly have had an Enchanting experience!!!

THE HOUSES ARE:
1) THE ORCHARD HOUSE: This is the largest of the cottages and sleeps 8-10, there are 3 bedrooms and a 4th dormitory, with single beds, day beds, and foldout beds available. The bedrooms have queensize beds, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen. This house is uniquely furnished with antiques and art objects, Big screen TV, DVD, Stereo, Wood Stove Insert in fireplace, Wood Provided. Walk out to the adjoining deck to sit and de-stress, watch the mountain, have a wonderful meal, hire the local masseuse for a private massage on deck, then to the hot tub....your imagination is your limit. There is a game room in the basement with Pool and Foosball. !
3) THE COTTAGE: is a cute little cottage joined to the farm house by a large deck which has a hot tub and BBQ, and a Sauna. The Cottage sleeps 2 in a Queensize antique bed, the little house is adorned with stained glass fixtures, and works of art. Go down the spiral staircase to the new granite & stainless kitchen.
4) THE TOTEM HOUSE: A very rustic lodge type, A-Frame house, beautifully appointed with lodge type furniture, original works of art, antiques, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, and a futon for an extra 2 people, 1 bathroom, washer and dryer, 42" HDTV, DVD, STERIO, DISH, Oregon Hot Springs Hot Tub, BBQ, Fire Pit, Large Beautiful Deck. Go up the custom spiral stairway to the skybridge which goes to the upper deck and to the loft. There are totem pole's, carved indian, carved owl, and a large Back Room for skii's, boots, luggage. This house sleeps 4, with an extra 1-2 on a futon.

Visitors who come here will get to stay in cottages that are located in an old growth, wooded setting, some of the fir trees are 250 years old. The woods have been turned into a park that attracts all sorts of birds and wildlife, of course the backdrop to all of this is a breathtaking view of Mt. Hood. Guests will get to stay in the Treehouse, use the sauna, swimming pool and hot tub, also wonder around the orchards and munch on Apples or Pear's. All of the cottages are furnished with antiques, brass beds, stained glass. We are located close to ski areas, lakes and many forest and hiking trails. I grew up on this farm, and always knew how very special and beautiful this place was. Later, my husband and I moved back to the farm, and in the course of things decided that we wanted to share the beauty of our special place with others. This farm is a working farm producing tons of cherries and pears and apples, per year. We hope that visitors who come here will experience a back to nature lifestyle that only few experience, but we get to live everyday.

My girlfriend and I spend our one year anniversary at the Miller Farm Retreat. Steve and Bobbi are great hosts and made sure we had a great weekend! There are 5 different houses you can rent, we stayed in the cottage. It was perfect for us, very relaxing atmosphere. They have a hot tube, sauna, swimming pool, fire pit, lots of animals around and property to explore. It is one of the most relaxing and carefree places we have ever been too. We are looking forward to staying there again! Thank you Steve and Bobbi!!!! We had a great time!!!!

Miller Farm was the perfect venue for my daughter's August wedding. Mt. Hood provides the perfect backdrop for our beautiful, romantic event. The entire ambience of Miller Farm was akin to a fairy tale experience, magical best describes our experience. The accommodations were quaint but functional, comfortable and clean. The grounds were delightful with trees, and orchards and flowers. The weather was perfect, sunny in the day and cool in the evening allowing us to enjoy a last night bar-b-que around the fire pit. The pool and spa provided hours of fun for guests young and older alike. Miller Farm exceeded our expectations, the whole wedding experience was enchanting and delightful. I look forward to having an opportunity to return to relive and enjoy fond memories of the fantastic time that was had by all.

Our son and daughter-in-law selected Miller's Farm for their wedding & reception site in August of 2011. The online photo gallery is nice and accurately shows the property, but it does not do the property or accommodations justice, the 3-D experience you get in person is overwhelmingly beautiful! Everything was spotless inside and out and the owners were very helpful throughout our stay to be sure everything was perfect for the wedding and guests. While we never used it, we did have a flat screen tv in our unit and current DVD's along with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. We were onsite for 3 nights and it was the most gorgeous backdrop for a wedding and restful vacation. The property is surrounded by fruit orchards with lush green gardens to roam and find surprises at every turn. The housing is richly appointed with quality furnishings and accessories including many of the owners family antiques making it a warm and comfortable home away from home. This is one place I would have liked to stay longer. The guests enjoyed use of the hot tubs, pool, sauna, bbq grill, decks and firepits during a farewell dinner and we all agreed Millers Farm is a magical destination and hope to return for future vacations. I highly recommend this to travelers for a unique get-away or for those seeking a beautiful location for a destination wedding.

Our stay here was in every way, perfect!!! From the awesome setting and beautiful decor of each unique cabin, to the wonderful service, peaceful setting, and the easy access to all amenities. Bobbi made sure that every need was met for our stay, and went above and beyond for us! It was truly a home away from home. Hello, After asking the "Big Question" of my girlfriend-fiance-wife to be, "Will You Marry Me" YES! The next biggest question was where and when should we get married? We decided on the Columbia River Gorge, As we visited each location online and in person, from start to finish our inquiries and communications with the Miller Farm Retreat were prompt, professional, polite, informative and just so much fun. Owner-Bobbi Miller greeted us with fresh. hot lattes in new travel mugs on a cold winter day.Wow! The incredibly close views of Mt. Hood, the beautiful grounds, huge trees and snowy orchards was only surpassed by the 5 beautiful quaint cool homes. Each home was unique and furnished perfectly. Beautiful Furniture, Artistic Accommodations 5 Star bedding & linens along with state of the art kitchens with granite, juniper, counter tops, new appliances cook ware and beautiful bathroom areas and laundry rooms for all the guests. As we walked the 4 acre resort area we were impressed with how clean and well kept every house. garden area and the overall grounds looked, Even better than the web site portrayed all in the middle of December. The two jacuzzi hot tubs, the sauna-steam room, the swimming pool area, everything was Picture Perfect! Just what we wanted for our families, wedding photos and our life long memories. Along with all of the above, The Miller Farm Retreat was perfect for us because we could bring everyone and everything together all at one location. The Wedding Kitchen, wedding chairs, tables, linens, beautiful decorations, the lighting and all the help we could ever need to bring it all together. My wedding day June 18th. 2010 was the easily "The Best Day Of My Life" because the most beautiful woman on the planet said Yes-I Do to me and joined me for our life journey. The Miller Farm Retreat, Bobbi Miller and her 1st rate staff made everything else just as perfect! We had everything and everyone we wanted at the resort and our wedding event. Three beautiful days of visiting, relaxing, eating, partying, swimming etc, The Mt Hood View, The Orchards, The Weather, The Tree House-Round House, Fresh Fruit, Farm Fresh Eggs, Local Wines, Sightseeing, Everything Was Perfect! I would highly recommend you visit the Miller Farm Retreat for your family event, wedding or just to get away! It's relaxing, beautiful, stunning and just like the advertising says: Enchanting! For a group of 15 friends and family members on a ski/snowboard vacation The Miller Farm Retreat was absolutely perfect!!! It was was about an 18 minute drive to the Mt.Hood Meadows HRM parking lot, with almost no traffic compared to coming from the Government Camp side which can get a little crazy. The owners are super nice and made sure we had everything we needed when we got there. All of the houses were very clean and well taken care of, the owners obviously take a lot of pride in their property. The Orchard house was very cozy and warm. It had everything we needed for meals for 15 people and plenty of room to play games and watch movies. The sauna and hot tub had lots of room and were perfect after a long day at Mt. Hood Meadows. The Cottage was super clean and updated. The kitchen and shower were especially nice. Having it's own washer and dryer was really convenient as well. The Roundhouse has to be the most romantic of the little houses. If you want a nice place to stay with your significant other I would say this is my favorite spot on the property! My girlfriend loved it. And of course the Treehouse was super cool, I think everyone wanted to stay in there. I mean how often do you get to wake up in a super comfy bed, up in a huge tree, and watch the sunrise with a perfect view of Mt.Hood right out your window?! We loved every minute of our stay and recommend it highly. We will absolutely return for a longer stay next time.

The ski team stayed here for a week while racing at The Meadows ski area. The Boys had the Orchard House and the Girls had the Totem house. The Coach had the treehouse. All had a wonderful time and look forward to next year.
