Our newly renovated 4100+ square foot house has 6 bedrooms 4 bathrooms and is situated on open water on Summerland Key. This unique location has both an ocean side with crystal clear blue water, a small island within swimming distance and a protected canal side where you can keep your boat. Absolutely beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed from any one of the many balconies spread over three floors. The house has a southwest exposure. TV's mostly large in all bedrooms, and a 50' plasma in the main family room. The house is equipped with elevator, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, BBQ, hammock, boat dock, jet ski ramp, and plenty of outdoor furniture. There is a heated pool with Jacuzzi. Sorry no pets allowed.
There is also a small apartment with own entrance, mini kitchen, and great ocean view. This charming apartment has a small sitting room, small kitchenette, full kitchen and a beautiful view.
The house has a resort type feel. The house is different than many in the keys as it is on ground floor level (grandfathered in) and this makes it easy to entertain with kitchen and trex decking on pool level. No need for shoes as all walking areas are free from the dreaded pea rock commonly found in the keys.

Rented by the month. Rates between 18000 and 24000.
Reservations are taken on a first come basis.
There is a non refundable $1000 deposit to reserve.
Reservation deposit becomes security deposit after arrival.
All rent due 30 days prior to arrival unless reservation less than 30 days.
We do offer some discounts (10-15%) for smaller parties and last minute.
There is also a $300 cleaning fee. House is complete, all you need is
food and clothes.

Why the Owner Chose Summerland Key
The Florida Keys have always been one of my favorite places to visit. The keys offer an experience like no other in the world. No need to fly as the keys are a scenic 3 hour car ride from Miami. There is plenty to do from the exciting nightlife, shopping and eating out in Key West to snorkeling in clear blue water in the backyard. The Florida Keys has it all.
The Unique Benefits of this House
You feel as if you were just dropped in the middle of the ocean. The backyard views include a small island full of wildlife, boats passing thru the deep water channel to beautiful sunsets. Everything is enjoyed while relaxing on new teak furniture. Plenty of coconut palm shade and sunlight accommodate all. The pool has a walk-in beach entry for the little ones to play.

Best Rental Home in the Keys

I just returned from a great week on Summerland Key. The home was fantastic and Matt (the owner) went out of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We fished daily right off of the wharf and caught 20+ fish a day (plus a shark an barracuda in the evening on two occasions!) The lobster were also abundant! We rented a jet ski from http://bluwatersrental.com - They have brand new jet skis and boats and are very inexpensive ($245 for an entire day!) We had more than enough room in the home and that gave our party of 7 adults and 3 kids plenty of room to spread out. My children spent most of their time in the pool which is located right on the water which allowed the adults a great view and an area to play cards or other games while keeping an eye on the children. I would highly recommend this home to anyone heading to the Floriday Key's. (In fact, we have already referred a couple of people that should be calling soon to book the home!) Thanks for the great vacation!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
