My wife and I and 2 baby boys stayed a full week in this condo and I must say I was completely blown away with everything it had to offer! I truly felt right at home and on vacation! Usually after a week away from home I needed a vacation away from the vacation and staying here and it's location lakeside was truly the get away that recharges you! This condo has everything and then some...if you bring anything other than a change of clothes and a few groceries you've brought more than you'll need here! We would do it all over again and again!!!

Best Rental for Snowbasin

We had a wonderfull stay. the Unit was extremely comfortable and Valin is a pleasure to work with. We have stayed here twice with three kids and my parents. it is only minutes from snowbasin. The only real option if you are planning a trip to Snowbasin is to stay here. The beds and pillows were fantastic. Hitting the hut tub after skiing all day doesnt hurt either. It is located about an hour from the airport. and only 15 minute drive down to ogden. It was fantastic.

This condo is wonderful. We have stayed in a number of Lakeside condos, and this is one of the nicest. It really has everything, and the beds are very comfortable--not like most rentals. The housekeeper, Marcy, is wonderful, and can and will do most anything you need. Valin Miranker gives excellent tips and advice, and just couldn't be nicer. Truly, there is nothing not to like about this condo.

I do try to make sure my guests get a "true" vacation, by making sure that extra services such as extra maid service, grocery shopping and discount lift tickets are available to them. We stayed at Valin's Lakeside condo in September and had a wonderful time. Valin is awesome to work with, very accommodating, attentive, and helpful. She was always available for any questions we might have had. Her condo is lovely, spacious, and well furnished. One of our favorite features of the condo is the large balcony off the family room, with plenty of seating for all of us. We also enjoyed the two family rooms, which was great for the kids have movie time. The floor plan provided ample space for our two small families to enjoy our stay. The condo location overlooks the campground, and is close to the lawn and paths that lead to the lake. We had a great time and would recommend this property for anyone who is interested in a relaxing, quiet vacation away from it all. Thanks, again, Valin

Great place to stay for excellent skiing

We are a family of 4 from Finland who rented this condo 3-10 March 2010. It was a fantastic place to stay close to Snowbasin, where we did most of our skiing. As there were only 4 of us we really had lots of space. The upstairs living room (entrance level) is great and so is the kitchen. There is one master bedroom upstairs and two more bedroms and one more living room downstairs. We counted 6 TVs total so there were no arguments between the 4 of us about which programme to watch. The garage was big enough to fit the rather big 4-wheel drive Ford Explorer that we had rented from SLC airport. Valin, the owner, was very helpful and easy to deal with and made us feel very welcome with lots of recommendations regarding renting of ski equipment, restaurants, etc. All in all we spent two weeks skiing in Utah. The second week we stayed at Hyatt Summerfield Suites in Sandy, about 15 minutes south of Salt Lake, but that was not nearly as good as this condo. During our stay in Utah we tried out five of Utah's skiing resort and Snowbasin was by far our favourite resort, without any competition. The other resorts we skied at included Powder Mountain, Alta, Snowbird and Solitude. The main advantage of Snowbasin is the lack of crowds especially during the week, the great lift system, great lodges with excellent lunches and a good skiing area in general (including Nastar races Friday - Sunday). Many other areas have not invested enough in the ski lifts. Alta is such an area which is otherwise great but where they have only chair lifts without any safety bars! We found this very strange considering that safety otherwise seems to be a focus area in the US but when it comes to chair lifts some US resorts are definitely behind European standards. PowMow and Solitude also did not have safety bars at all their chair lifts. The lifts at Snowbird were ok but there is much more people there and the general impression was not as good as Snowbasin. If we do come back to the US for skiing we will definitely book the same condo and do all of our skiing at Snowbasin.

Huntsville Heaven We had two families stay in this beautiful condo. Each set of parents had their own private retreat, and there were plenty of beds and privacy for the 5 young adults that accompanied us. The kitchen is gourmet (I would like to take it home), the beds are heavenly soft, and the location to Snowbasin couldn't be better. It took us only minutes to get over Trappers Loop, where we could easily access the ski resorts in the Salt Lake area. Everyone enjoyed the oversized hot tub just outside the back door, and the gaming system in the downstairs area kept my two boys happy. We'll be back, definately. We also noticed that this condo is on a reservoir, and we plan on returning to try out the jet skiing in the summer.

Our Trip was amazing! We have stayed in dozens of condos all over the country, and this is by far the best condo we've ever stayed at. The Beds were comfortable, the condo was immaculate, the furniture was very nice, the hot tub was the best! We will stay there every year from now on!

Beautiful Condo / Great Location!! Our family had a wonderfull trip to Utah. The Condo was like new. It had more than enough room for my parents and our three kids. It is the best location available if you are going to ski snowbasin. It was great!

Just returned from a week's stay. We were two families, including 4 teenage boys. The unit is really perfect - everyone had enough privacy and the furnishings are great, including a big dining room table, comfortable seating and fabulous bedding. The owners and caretakers couldn't have been nicer. We highly recommend this condo when skiing or vacationing in the Ogden area.
