  We've stayed in many different places on Maui - and Kauai - but John and Sherry's lovely home tops them all for us. We loved everything from the view to the beautifully appointed interior, to the easy walk down the road to the beach. We LOVED the quiet, peaceful mornings and evenings. We're easily close enough to the "action" and the ocean activities to have all the fun we can handle, then come home to this beautiful serenity. I, personally, was in my element: one of my favorite locations on Earth surrounded by the intoxicating aroma of my beloved Plumeria. We had everything here we could have needed to have a fantastic vacation! I just can't say enough about this place! We've already reserved our time for next year!! Can't wait!

  We really hated leaving this beautiful home away from home. It was an ideal location for our family of 5. The condo itself is absolutely beautiful. Sherry and John have done a fantastic job of renovating and decorating the space to make you feel as though you are staying in a 5 star resort. Even before going there Sherry was so helpful and friendly answering any questions that we had and letting us know all about the property. Having a fully equipped kitchen made our stay very comfortable and economical. We were able to prepare our own meals at our convenience and pack lunches to take along on excursions. Having a lot of staples provided for us (spices, oil, condiments, etc.) made it simple to use familiar recipes without having to purchase every single ingredient. Having a washer and dryer right in the unit was a huge convenience, as was having laundry detergent provided for us. In the evenings we had our dinners on the lanai listening to the cicadas and watching the geckos who came to visit most nights. The sleeping arrangements were very comfortable with plenty of room for us and our 3 teenage children. At first I was a little worried about the location since it was not right on the beach but after being there a couple days we realized we really liked being off the beaten track as it was so peaceful and quiet in the community. We were very close to Kaanapali beach and found it very easy to pack up things and drive down to it. There is lots to see and do in the area but also everything is close on the island. When I arrived I found that Sherry and John had a copy of the same guide book that I had purchased before coming called "Maui Revealed". It is a fantastic book that gives lots of tips about things you can see and do and gives directions to a lot of sites that are not commonly known to every tourist but are definitely worth seeing. We are definitely hoping to come back someday to stay at this beautiful property and experience all the things we didn't have time for on our first visit!

  We have been to several of the Hawaiian Islands and must say this is one of the nicest units we have stayed in. The sunset and ocean views from the lanai were amazing, beautiful monarch butterfiles and rainbows everyday made it a magical place. This unit has a great floor plan as well as upgraded applicances and beautiful flooring. It was very comfortable. John and Sherry have a unique place, they have added so many special touches and it shows. Hope to return again soon.

  The drawback to staying at John and Sherry's beautiful townhouse is that, eventually, you have to go back home! The interior of this residence is just stunning, the grounds are meticulously manicured, the scent of the plumeria was sweet enough to bring tears to the eyes, the songs of the various species of birds filled the air from dawn to dusk, the butterflies flitting about the lanai area, the absolutely gorgeous sunsets over the ocean... The senses are on overload from start to finish! So much thought was poured into the reconstruction/redesign of the townhome that there was absolutely nothing left to improve on. The kitchen is state-of-the-art with beautiful cabinetry; very ergonomically designed. The flooring thoroughout the unit was on par with something out of Sunset magazine. The lanai offered perfect ocean views and a day bed for those lazy afternoon naps (there are so many activities on Maui that, after two days of running, the third would call out for rest). Perhaps the most wonderful thing about the property is NOT the property itself, but the owners: Sherry and John are the most perfect hosts we've ever had the pleasure of dealing with, and we had never met them before contacting them about renting a vacation get-away. While there is always the dreaded financial side to all of it, what was really very clear from the start is that they want people to experience Maui in style and share the beauty of their home. God willing, we will return to enjoy their home again, but if something should happen that would make it impossible, we will always have their friendship: Priceless!

  What an absolutely incredible home. When we walked in we were overwhelmed with quality and beauty. The floor plan is outstanding. Everything about this home is exceptional. The lighting, flooring, beds, bathrooms, TVs, furniture, cabinets, porch and the kitchen is a dream. The outside porch gives tremendous views of the sunset, palm trees, golf course and the islands of Lanai and Molokai. Here are a few bullets about this property: - Property sits just a few minute walk from a public beach park directly across the street. There is also parking at the park. The park has a long walkway and breathtaking sunset views and views of Molokai and Lanai. - The Sugar cane train is at the end of the street along with a local market and snow cones. Great place to stop and the Sugar cane train is awesome! - Just a 10 minute drive to Lahina, an absolutely awesome town to shop and eat in - one of our favorites! - The property is very favorable towards handicapped, strollers and children. There are ramps and the parking is directly infront of the unit (easy parking!) - The pool is private and has a grill and plenty of seating - there is shuffleboard and tennis courts and a grill at the pool for cooking out and an outstanding view of the mountains behind the property - We have a one year old who is just learning to walk and she took advantage of the open floor plan - she loved to walk around and explore - the house offers great space to do this. - The jet tub is awesome and the showers are first class - really luxurious, there are even lights that come on at the bottom of the cabinets - the lighting in the unit really sets the mood - dimming lights all over.. really neat... - The flat screen HD television in the main living area is huge and has an awesome picture - there are also flat screen TVs in each bedroom - The Air conditioning is cool and very much appreciated with a young toddler... - Washer and Dryer are great to have as well - We were able to leave the house at 8:30 and see the entire Hana Highway in one day .. stopping for dinner and arriving back by 8pm.. the Hana highway is a must see -- we made 5 stops and had no problems seeing it in one day .. I can't say enough about this home. We came hoping for the best and were blown away. The owners are incredibly nice, the property is amazing, the location is great, the community is quiet and has beautiful scenery. We can't wait to come back again. We have found our place to stay on Maui!
