The interior is impeccably maintained with brand new furniture throughout. There are French doors to a breezy, sunny deck right off the modern, complete kitchen. The deck has a large umbrella table that seats six-eight for comfortable outdoor dining. Off the kitchen there is also a beautiful screened porch with cozy rattan furniture.
On the first floor, besides the eat-in kitchen, is an airy, well-lit living room, two bedrooms (each accommodating 2 people), and a full bath with tub and shower. The master bedroom on the second floor has its own French doors to a private deck and a full bath. There is a carpeted, open, child-friendly area on the second floor for reading, games, watching movies, etc. The basement has a ping pong table, washer and dryer, beach chairs, beach umbrella, raft and boogie boards for your use while at the house. Large well-placed windows offer wonderful west light and ceiling fans for maximum ventilation. An enclosed outdoor shower adds to the beach experience.
June 20th - June 27th price reduction: Besides walking to the beach and ponds, our house is a five minute bike ride to Wellfleet town center - extremely easy access for a quick errand or breakfast out with the family. Wellfleet is known as the art gallery town. There are artist openings every Saturday evening with lovely parties that are open and free to visitors. There are also concerts all summer long at various locales throughout town, as well as, the Wellfleet Actors Theater, and the authentic 1950's-style drive-in movie, which doubles as a terrific flea market during the day.
The public bike trail is close by and available for walking, biking and roller blading, it stretches for 26 miles. Great Island (5 minute drive from the house) and the Autobahn Society (10 minute drive0 also provide exquisite scenic hiking and birding, as well as guided canoe trips and beautiful kayaking through miles of tidal marsh.
Cultural and outdoor activities abound not only in Wellfleet, but in Truro (5 minutes from the house ) and in Provincetown (20 minutes away).

We enjoyed two beautiful weeks in this home in mid-September. It was even better than described - very light and airy with beautiful artwork. The location is very convenient yet quiet and secluded. Paths criss-cross the woods around the home leading to several area ponds within walking distance. We drove to the beach - Newcomb Hollow - which was very convenient in the fall with few visitors around. Easy parking, restroom facilities. The home is equally convenient to the bayside and the small town of Wellfleet which has many lovely galleries and small shops. Most of all we enjoyed exploring the nature trails on the bay. If you stay here be sure to visit PB Bistro Boulangerie on Route 6 for authentic french pastries. The owners provided many amenities which made our visit more pleasant - bicycles we used on the Cape Cod bike trail and wonderful beach chairs - lessening what we needed to bring along. The owners were responsive to all of our questions and made all of the arrangements easy and stress free.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Our family of all adults had a great stay at the wonderful Rubin home. First of all it is impeccably maintained with all of the amenites one could hope for. The photos on the website don't do it justice as the house is much more spacious than we could have imagined. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out and read, do a jogsaw puzzle or even yoga. Each night we enjoyed cocktails on the lovely sreened porch. Wellfleet is such a wonderful town with beautfiul beaches, great restaurants and fun things to do like the drive-in movie and miniature golf, and beautiful art galleries. The highlight of the week was enjoying a bonfire on the beach on a gorgeos starry night. We will retun again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The Rubin family home is a beautiful home - we did not have a chance to meet them in person - but have no doubt that they are a beautiful family as well. We spent a week there with our son and daughter-in-law and 15 month old grandson and it was simply delightful. Aside from being so aesthetically pleasing, the house is clean and comfortable and user-friendly and surrounded by greenery. The access to beaches and ponds and bike paths and restaurants from it was perfect. We feel lucky that we discovered it and that Elizabeth was so friendly and helpful with all the details leading up to our Cape Cod vacation.Did you find this review helpful? We can not say enough about this PERFECT summer rental. The location is so good especially if you like the ocean. The photos are good but you certainly don't get a sense of the openess of the space. It is impeccably furnished with all the amenities you want and need. It is done with wonderful taste and style but there is nothing formal about it. It is exactly how you want to experience Cape Cod. There is both a screen enclosed porch (great for reading) and an outdoor deck (great for eating). The house is constructed in such a way that you feel like you are always outdoors. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants a hastle free vacation. I also want to add that the owners responded immediately to my e-mails, answering all questions graciously.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

After reading the owner's description and all the reviews, I can confirm the news... it's as good as it sounds, maybe better! Wellfleet is a wonderful destination (which is why we keep returning) and this is my new "perfect" way to be there. The location is a great mix of easy access to the ocean, ponds and town, and the house sits in a beautiful, private woodsy setting that is open and light. The house, too, has a very open and light feeling, "crisp" and warmly hospitable at the same time. It's well laid out, from the kitchen and dining areas, both inside and out, to the living and sleeping spaces... so it's easy to be there, no matter what the weather. My only regret... that one week after arriving it was time to leave!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

This is a lovely house in a beautiful setting. it was well appointed and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The upstairs master bedroom was spectacular! The two bedrooms on the first level were not large but adequate for us. We loved walking down to the pond (about fifteen minutes). The location was great in terms of exploring the Cape. We went to the ocean, near by ponds and enjoyed many walks. The village of WellFleet has many excellent galleries and shops and it's just a few minutes drive from the house. Bottom line- We were happy with our choice!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Wonderful home in a great location. Very clean with lots of included amenities to help you enjoy the beach or your time at the house. The owner was very responsive to requests and very accommodating. I would certainly recommend this home to anyone. We spent a delightful two weeks at this house on either side of July 4 weekend. It could not have been more peaceful and comfortable. The high points were lovely walks in the woods -- to a gorgeous almost empty beach if you like, and an easy drive to Wellfleet where we were able to find fresh vegetables and, of course, all manner of excellent fish and seafood. All parts of the house are comfortable, and there are lots of spaces in which to relax, from a bright, well-appointed living room to a screened porch and an open deck with only one other house in view. The photos show an accurate picture of the varied spaces in the house. We especially enjoyed the surprisingly elegant shopping in Wellfleet, and sushi at Mac's.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.

We were thrilled to find the Rubin house situated in the woods within walking distance to ponds and the ocean although we did not hike but biked to the ocean this year. It also is so close to town and Moby Dick's which turned out to be one of our favorite restaurants is an easy bike ride. The house is so accommodating with wonderful porches. Our week was a hot one and the screened in porch that has a ceiling fan and is surrounded by trees was terrific. There are enough fans for every room which made things comfortable. We were six and there was so much great space to share and to find a quiet spot alone. We loved it!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.
