The three story master bedroom provides a tranquil escape for the couple who demands elegant amenities. This room has a king sized bed, sitting area with gas fireplace, large bathroom complete with whirlpool tub, steam shower, double vanities, and a separate commode room. There is a loft accessed by a spiral staircase where you can sneak away to check email, recline in the leather chaise or make private telephone calls.
The lodge has numerous nooks and crannies and family members will be able to find a quiet spot for reflection or a lazy, cat nap. The lower level can function as a completely independent space as it offers a fully equipped kitchen, cozy sitting room with a gas fireplace, two bedrooms, full bathroom with jetted tub and shower, a fully equipped workout room, and a stone terrace.

Why the Owner Chose Canandaigua
Living in upstate and western New York our entire lives, we were familiar with and had visited all of the Finger Lakes. We decided early in our marriage that if we were ever fortunate enough to own a second home, we would choose Canandaigua Lake as we thought it was the most beautiful of all the lakes. We also appreciate the town and all it has to offer in terms of dining, galleries, and entertainment. The recent addition of the Wine&Culinary Center, the updated concert venue (CMAC), access to gourmet food/wine, excellent health care at Thompson Medical Center, and the proximity to both summer and winter activities, has made Canandaigua an unparalleled vacation destination. Canandaigua is a historic, quaint village that harkens back to a simpler time. There is a palpable sense of community as you walk around town visiting the local merchants or attending one of the arts festivals.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We moved from an east side house 3 miles north to this lodge for several reasons: Take a look at this house-It's AMAZING!!!! We were also looking for a location that afforded us more privacy which we achieved with this lodge. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The lakefront development with multiple levels of decks, terraces, etc is unlike any other on the lake. The design of the house and waterfront areas allow a large group of people to live together comfortably with plenty of elbow room! Finally east side lake properties enjoy an extended day with sunsets occurring somewhere between 8-9PM during the summer. We want to squeeze every minute our of our summer. We also use this house during the Fall and Winter as frankly, it just feels cozy! Something about the Adirondack style of this house makes it a house for all seasons!
