The petite diminutive cottage is white, inside and out. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 woodburning fireplaces, and 2 off-street parking spaces. The master bedroom and bath are perfect for two adults, while the guest room and guest bath facilitates two children or two adults with two twin beds. There is a private deck, a fenced back-yard and a shaded private garden.
Located next to Troupe Square(Jingle Bells Square), across the street from the Beach Institute and just a few blocks from the Cathedral. The location is in the heart of the historic district and easy walking distance of River Street, Broughton Street, and all the downtown restaurants and historic tours and sites. One of the tours stops in front daily and presents this cottage to visitors. Once you step out the front door, you are immersed in Savannah history. A large Magnolia tree decorates the front of the house and when the horse drawn carriages head down the street you will know you are in Historic Savannah with all it’s charms.
The cottage is filled with artwork and is very creatively furnished, as you can see in the photos. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a washer and dryer. You can stay for a few nights or a month or more. (No smoking allowed.)
