This NEW 2009 tropical style luxury, island home is professionally decorated. Our four bedrooms/three and half bath, custom built and decorated, island home has three levels with the Michael Kors master bedroom on the living areas on the upper levels and the bedrooms on the lower. Quality linens and towels included. There are plenty of areas for large gatherings and plenty of areas for private relaxing. The roof top is nearly 40 feet high.
There 360 degree views from the sky deck of the gulf and Pine Island Sound. Watch the sunset, sunrise, bird watching (osprey, herons) from your sky deck. Enjoy access to the pristine beautiful white sand beach-short walk distance or load yours golf cart(beach chairs) and drive to the beach for second's. There are no cars and no paved roads (transportation is only by electric golf cart on sand roads). For your island transportation you will have available TWO golf cart: one 6 seater and one 4 seater.
We also offer world class sport fishing for Tarpon, Snook and Red fish. Fish from the beach or charter a fishing boat for the day collect shells, kayak to neighboring islands, ride bikes.
North Captiva Island is unspoiled barrier island located north of Captiva/Sanibel and south of Cayo Costa barrier islands. North Captiva Island is approximately four miles long and one half mile wide at its widest point. Boat access only-20 minutes ride from Pine Island. There is privately owned, grass air strip of light aircraft. A large part of the islands is state land preserve. Manatees and dolphins are often to see from our shores.

- Charter fishing, day trips via water taxi to surrounding islands. Golf and shopping are accessible by water taxi to Sanibel and Fort Myers(factory stores nearby).There are 6 scheduled taxi runs per day. If you'd prefer, a private boat charter can take you. You can be picked up via limousine service and taken to the marina for 20-minute boat ride to the island or you can rented car on Fort Myers international airport and drive your self to marina.We can arrange all transport and order your groceries/supplies at the local store and have delivered to the marina or directly to your house.

The photos of this property do not show how absolutely gorgeous this house is!!! The decor is amazing throughout. Travelling with my mother-in-law and five children, this house was PERFECT with the master-suite on a separate floor. Every bedroom leads out to a balcony where there are amazing views. The owner was so helpful and the Island Club Staff were amazing. Water is so clear on the beach and on a busy day, there were 3 other people on the beach or at the pool with us . . . it was like having our own private island. We will be renting Schooner Sail again!!!

Never staying on North Captiva or at the Schooner Sail home we were not sure what to expect. What we found was a newer beautifully furnished house with everything to make for a perfect vacation. The home is located very close to the pools, marina and general store which was nice since we brought our own boat. The golf carts were a big hit with every family member and made it easy to see the beautiful island. The logistics of getting ourselves, food and luggage to the island was easier than expected. This was the most relaxing vacation we've had in a long time and our 4 children ranging from 23 months to 15 years loved it! I would highly recommend this home to my friends and family.

My family and I spent 10 days in this house and LOVED it! It is a beautiful house with everything you could imagine or want on a vacation. From the comfortable furniture to the high end kitchen,everything was great. It is a very clean house with updated everything. No problems at all. The owner has a real handle on everything, super accommodating. Made all are plans when we arrived at the island and even checked up on us to make sure everything was okay. Close proximity to the pool and beach. You can walk or take one of the two golf carts that come with the house. We are making plans to return to the island and will be staying in this house.

Our family spent Thanksgiving week in this beautiful home! There were 5 adults and 5 children and the house worked perfectly. The owners were very helpful upon our arrival and thought of everything in the house! We loved the beach and pool at the clubhouse. Having two golf carts available was really nice. This was the best family vacation that we have had. Thank you!
