I bought this apartment in Japan to take advantage of the amazing powder snow during the Australian Summer period (Dec-April) and because I really enjoy the Japanese cultural experience - especially the food! My 12 year old daughter also loves it.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Apart from the snow sports, there is nothing more enjoyable than soaking in a traditional Japanese onsen (natural thermal hot pools) followed by a traditional Japanese meal of sushi, teriyaki, yakitori, etc... The views of Mt. Youtei (an extinct volcano similar in size and shape to Mt Fuji) are spectacular.

This experience exceeded our high expectations! The property is a five-minute walk to the slopes and to the popular restaurants, bars, and shops. Well maintained, secure property, with 24-hour service available. The owner was very helpful from setting up transportation to giving local recommendations. We hope to return soon!

Had a great stay in this apartment with my wife in March 2010. The Yama Shizen blocks are well-located for the slopes, comfortably fitted out and properly maintained. There are enough staff on hand to help out with any queries and there are good food options nearby too, especially Abu Cha II and Bang Bang.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, tourists without a car.
