Enjoy sumptuous meals seaside, in a lovely indoor or open-air setting. The chef creatively prepares and beautifully presents Tropical and Pacific Rim cuisine, as well as fresh baked bread daily. Tell us your dietary needs and we can cater for them.

Rainbow Reef Resort - 4 Spectacular Oceanfront Bures
Year Purchased: 2005
Why the Owner Chose Rainbow Reef
We had the opportunity to purchase the Rainbow Reef Resort at the same time we purchased land in Buca Bay to build our mission: The Mission at Natuvu Creek. We used the Resort as a place to stay during that time when we came to work as well as host friends. We have made improvements to the resort and now are re-opening it to the public. We will donate 50% of all profits from the Resort operations to the Mission at Natuvu Creek.
The Unique Benefits at this Fijian Bure (4)
Joyful songs of mynahs, parrots and lorikeets greet the morning sun. Soft giggles, quiet singing and "yandra's" (good morning) sprinkle the air as the staff prepares for the day. Scents of breakfast awaken your senses. At the Pavilion? On the veranda? A relaxing cup of tea, while you prepare for the day's activities. Will we dive on Rainbow Reef? A gentle hike? Explore Fiji's Garden Island Taveuni?
The day is punctuated by the mid-day meal. A handmade coconut pizza? Sizzling stir-fry? A light lunch: home made chowders, fresh baked bread, salad. Tomorrow a secluded gourmet picnic on a nearby beach. Afternoon provides the mood for a novel by the sea. Your lovely thatched cottage provides a peaceful sanctuary for a massage or a nap. Friendly staff take care of all your needs and desires while you indulge in tropical fantasy.
As sun sets, the sky turns a blazing pink and violet while you sip a sundowner on the top deck. Trees are filled with gossiping birds nestling for the night. The sky opens to a thousand stars, the Milky Way, twinkling lights of the nearby island; the moon rises, casting a silver path across the sea to your doorstep. A quiet walk to candle lit dinner, shared with new friends, or privately on your own seaside veranda. Fresh seafood enhanced by fine wine, perfected by a sumptuous dessert you would never indulge in at home. The evening air is laced with jasmine, soft laughter and gentle sweet voices of Fijian men singing. Join them for a traditional bowl of kava.
A leisurely hand-held stroll along a moonlit beach, pick up a shell, walk barefoot along the ocean. Your cottage welcomes you with an exotic flower on your pillow. An evening shower under the stars? The warm tropical breeze whispers through your windows. Twinkling lights of Taveuni, torches dancing, moonlight upon the water, gentle waves lap at the shore, a soft kiss, and nature caresses you to sleep.
