Location: Prescott, Capital Territory & High Country, Arizona, USA (Two miles from Downtown Square in Prescott.)
Accommodations: Cabin, 6 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 3 Baths (Sleeps 12-14)
Keywords: Cabin
This 6BR, 3 bath cabin is in the midst of Prescott's mountains and tall pines. Yet it is only minutes from the Historic "Courthouse Plaza" and the infamous" Whiskey Row".
The cabin has recently been remodeled/upgraded to enhance its signature features. Besides being spacious indoors with six large bedrooms and a large family room downstairs, it is also very spacious outdoors.
It has two large open-air decks. The larger upper deck lends itself well to outdoor meals while enjoying the cool mountain breeze under the protection of a covered deck. The second deck is accessible from the downstairs large family room. The meadow has a swing set for children to enjoy while being clearly visible from either deck. The meadow itself is large enough for almost any family activity such as softball, frisbee etc.
Because of it spaciouness and seclusion, the cabin is ideal for family reunions, special group events, and for any group that wants to get away from the activity of the city.
Goldwater, Lynx, Willow, & Watson Lakes are also only minutes away.
Questions about the cabin are encouraged by calling the owners at the provided phone numbers or by email. Additional photos are available upon request.
The maximum occupancy is twelve (12) adults and two additional guest IF they are willing to sleep on a air mattress and if guest provide their own bedding.

I love the fresh air and solitude of the cabin, yet we are only minutes from downtown Prescott.
Why the Owner Chose Prescott
We chose this location because it is less than two hours from downtown Phoenix, Arizona to the cool mountains and the tall pines of Prescott. It is minutes from the activities of the popular Prescott Square and the infamous "Whiskey Row". We also appreciate being centrally located to other areas of interest in Arizona such as the Red Mountains of Sedona, the Ghost town of Jerome, NAU in Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon National Park and various gambling casinos.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
We enjoy the cool mountain breezes, views and privacy offered by our two large decks, while being in the midst of the tall pines of Prescott. We also enjoy all the amenities offered by the City of Prescott's Downtown Square, a nearby major grocery store such as Safeway being less than 5 minutes from our front door. We also appreciate the fact that the major stores such as Costco, Home Depot, Dillards, Sears, and Penny's are less than 10 minutes away..

Wonderful cabin for large family/group!

We (a group of friends with families) stayed here over the new years and had a wonderful time. The cabin has enough spaces for kids, adults to relax, party and have fun. When we went there was just enough snow in the very large yard for the kids to play in which they did for all 3 days we were there. Not too far from downtown and not too close to it either. Nice quiet location. Nearby Upper and Lower Goldwater Lake is a wonderful park to enjoy nature. The owner was helpful through out the process to the end and was always available by cell phone. Easy entry system. Cabin/spaces were clean, well maintained. Lots of memories throughout. I would surely recommend the cabin to my friends. If all stars are in alignment in my group of friends, we might even rent again in a different season. I bet it must be cooler there than Phoenix in summers!

I wish to express my gratitude to the owners of this place ; we (group of 12) had a great time staying at this Prescott cabin. Everything was there we needed, we enjoyed especially the large, open deck, the game of 'Fussball' in the downstairs lounging area, and the beautifully furnished bedrooms. I can really recommend the place for larger groups, in need of the six bedrooms. Sleeps a lot of people on compact space, plus provides areas (deck, terrace, downstairs lounge area) to share with the group, or to spend a quiet moment away from the group in one of the hollywood swings. I personally enjoyed the humorous details throughout the house, well done !

We stayed at this property over the long Thanksgiving weekend, 2009. We have five school-aged kids and the connecting decks, large yard and playset kept them busy and active every day. The pictures don't do the yard and decks justice. It is really neat how the decks inter-connect, the kids had many adventures on them! The kitchen was well-stocked and large enough to prepare Thanksgiving dinner for eight adults and those five, rowdy kids! There are bedrooms and bathrooms both upstairs and down and all were clean and well maintained. Television sets in most every room, as well. The location is perfect: far enough from downtown to be "in the mountains", quiet and peaceful but close enough to run to the store for the forgotten sweet potatoes and be back in a flash. We celebrate Thanksgiving in Prescott every year and never miss the Electric Light parade downtown on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This property is a short 10 minute drive to sightseeing and shopping around Whiskey Row/Courthouse Square. Also, well located for those who line up for the special retail deals on the day after Thanksgiving, about 20-30 minute drive to Best Buy, etc. Thanks to the Trujillos for a painless reservation process and for their fantastic property! We couldn't be more depressed that their property isn't available for THIS Thanksgiving!

We had a mini family reunion at this cabin, and it was wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised, because the pictures do not do it justice. There were plenty of gathering spots - including the HUGE covered patio - , as well as plenty to keep the kids entertained. I would definitely recommend it!
