Trailside is located adjacent to the Smoky Mountains National Park in Wears Valley 10 miles from Pigeon Forge. Step off the front porch and onto Roundtop Trail. 5 minutes drive to Metcalf Bottoms picnic area in the park. Enjoy over 1.5 acres of heavily wooded privacy. Lodge-style home that highlights a custom outdoor covered hot tub, sassafrass hardwood floors and cathedral windows throughout.

Main level includes living room, dining room, kitchen, 1/2 bath and master bedroom all with vaulted ceilings. Master bedroom has walk-in closet and its own bath with jetted tub, double sinks, and shower stall. Wrap around decks and covered porches on 3 sides of main level.

Lower level includes 2 bedrooms each with own bath, game room with slate pool table, and laundry area. Walk out porch on back of lower level.

Outdoor custom hot tub with 27 jets, 2 pumps and 30% is shallow for young children (parental supervision still required). Satellite TV with DVD/VCR Player. Enjoy DirectTV with over 200 channels (including local channels).

  • Great cabin! I liked it! It was roomy, clean and comfortable, fully equiped with towels, linens, dishes, utensils, and pots and pans, too. I liked the amenities, like the pool table, spa and hot tub. And the furnishings were fun, too! I really liked all the windows and glass in the cabin. The walls felt transparent which was great since the views of the mountains were so spectacular. I also liked that each bedroom had a separate door to the balcony/decks and a private seating area outside. The location was great, close to the park plus restaurants and shops. I was amazed that I could cross the driveway and step onto a trail in the park. Finally, we found a perfect spot in the drive above the cabin to look at the night skies and do some star gazing. We had an awesome view of the Milky Way from the drive. I hope to visit again soon. Thanks!

  • We had a fabulous stay in this house. It has got to be no more than 10 ft. off the national park trail, which is a big plus for us. It is very private, but an easy drive to all the activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. A lot of high end upgrades and a real nice lodge decor touch. Will definately stay there again. Great hot tub!

  • We love the place! We've stayed here several years. Comfortable cabin, lots of space, great grill! My kids love the pool table. Wonderful views from the covered porch and hot tub. On boundary of Smokies, hiking trail right there, minutes from the Metcalf Bottoms entrance. Convenient to both Gatlinburg and Townsend, but still private and quiet.
