Everything was just as described and our family had a wonderful time. It's the perfect size for two families to share (we had 4 adults and 5 kids). Throw the kids in the movie theater and relax in the hot tub....does it get any better?

We rented this exquisite property for our wedding. Everything was amazing our guests were chanting and raving about how perfect and what a good choice we had made for the location for our special day. About eight of us flew in from around the country and we rented this house for our annual Fantasy Football Draft and guys weekend. Mehrdad and Rosie were very accommodating to us and even helped us plan a dinner in town. The house is phenomenal and we would recommend it to anyone. There are plenty of rooms and we loved the BBQ area, the pool, the table tennis, the sports court and the proximity to the beach. We are planning on another visit and this time plan to bring our families. Thanks Mehrdad and Rosie!

Perfect home to host a wedding

I'm so happy with how this rental worked out for us--i just don't know where to begin. we had several family members in town for our wedding, and this house helped us to accommodate them all. it was a real pleasure to have both families staying in such a beautiful home together... and with plenty of space to get away from each other when needed! the house was so beautiful that we chose to have our small ceremony and reception right on the property. all of our guests loved it and so did we! the rooms were all great--private balconies, steam baths, pillow top mattresses and hot tubs, what's not to like? it was so incredibly comfortable to move around in the house and we never felt over crowded by our guests. the house is pretty big and has enough gathering spaces to make you feel as though you can have privacy whenever you need it. the kitchen was perfect too--my wifes sister is a pastry chef and she was able to make the perfect wedding cake for us right on the spot. we took advantage of using the wine refridgerator, and the pool side grille also worked great for entertaining guests at the pool/hot tub. another great feature this home has is the large size dinning room that comfortably seats at least 10 people. sitting down comfortably to share a home cooked meal with our entire family was really priceless. The west facing balcony is also pretty amazing--ocean views, a chilled glass of wine from the cellar and a nice summer breeze made it the perfect spot for unwinding late in the afternoon. my only regret is that we didn't stay longer. the home has a decent movie theatre and private beach access that we didn't get to enjoy because we were so busy with wedding preparations. I'm already thinking that we may need to go back and do it again.

I rented this house from Mehrdad for the weekend to host some friends from out of town & LA and celebrate my 30th birthday. The house is gorgeous and was the perfect amount of space for us all to enjoy a fantastic weekend and have a great BBQ and pool party all day. Mehrdad was great to work with as well, as there were some hiccups getting the pool heated in time and he was very fair in rectifying the situation and making sure that our stay was perfect.

We would like to thank Mehrdad and Rosie for opening up their beautiful home to us and our guests for the most amazing wedding!! We had a vision of the perfect wedding and their home made that dream a reality! We arrived at the Villa on Friday morning 5.27.11, unpacked, set up for the rehearsal and had a great trial run for what was to be the most Beautiful Day imaginable! The next day, Sat 5.28.2011, we woke at the Villa to a gorgeous Malibu morning and the festivities began! Breakfast, Hair, Make-up, set-up, caterers, Dj, photographer, flowers, rentals, GALORE! It was all we had dreamed of and some! The Villa was a perfect backdrop for a perfect day! We are in love with our photos and the guests cant stop talking about how beautiful it was! We stayed an extra day, lounged on Sunday and left Monday afternoon on 5.30.2011. Thank you again to the Sahafi family for helping to make our dream wedding come life! Big Hugs from the newlyweds! Villa Calcare was the perfect place for our daughter's wedding. The property is beautiful as is the interior design and furnishings. The accommodations fit our needs perfectly and enabled us to have our family stay together under one roof to celebrate this wonderful occassion. The wedding day was gorgious and went off without a hitch! The next day was spent relaxing by the pool and enjoying each others company. We are already planning to return in the future to celebrate with our family again! I want to add that the location was very close to several grocery stores and restaurants. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone interested in spending a delightful holiday stay. Thank you Merdad and Rosie for providing such a fantastic estate! P.S. The elevator was a lifesaver!

Malibu mansion is a befitting name for this villa. We just came back from our stay at this villa. The house was equipped with every amenity you can think of. The property was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a first class villa. Mehrdad, the property owner, was very helpful and accomodating.

the description and photos barely do justice to this property. when my family and i drove up we were astounded by its beauty. during the intial tour with the owner my kids were blown away by the pool, hot tub and the theater room. the property was exrememly clean and well cared for. the owneres were helpful, yet non-intrusive. i would, and already have recomended this property to my friends.

Joie de Divas Girls Getaway

We stayed at this exclusive estate in February 2011 during NBA Allstar weekend. Can you imagine 13 ladies under one roof?? Well we had a blast. The accomodations provided to us surpassed any that we would receive at any resort. Rosie and Mehrdad were very welcoming and extemely helpful. The cold nights felt much better in the heated hot tub. Rainy days didn't mean a thing while we were enjoying movies in the home theater. This estate had all of the ameneties of a five star resort with the warm feeling of being in your own home. Needless to say, we will be making this our annual getaway home. Thanks so much Rosie and Mehrdad. We look forward to see you again!

I rented this house for a weekend, and let me tell you, the pictures of this place does not do any justice. This place is truly unique and absolutely magnificent. The location and views are truly amazing, and this place is fully loaded. Top that, you get to have your own private beach. Yes, in Malibu, you will have your own private beach. I invited some of my friends over, and cooked and grilled some dinner and lunch, and the kitchen is really fully stocked for a chef. Another thing that is very important and very cool, is the owners. Very down to earth and easy to deal with. I am very detailed oriented and have a type AA personality, and trust me, when I say this place is awesome and the owners are very nice, I mean it !! I would recommend this to anyone :)

Mehrdad and Rosie were very gracious and accommodating. The home is beautiful, beautifully furnished, and the views are stunning. I loved the glass sliders that completely open to the outdoors. The home comes with access to a strip of beach that is one of California's best.

I hosted my 30th birthday guests at this house and could not have had a better weekend. We looked at so many places on vrbo and I cannot tell you how happy I was that I chose this place. The view... the doors opening to the ocean front... the private beach... the amazing kitchen that allowed all 15 of my friends to hang with me while I cooked ... the amazing pool and water falls... this place could not have been better.

In the summer of 2009, my family and I had the pleasure of vacationing at the Sahafi's Malibu villa on PCH. Our experience can only be described as "amazing memories made once in a lifetime". The villa was everything advertised and more. With inspiring views, large pool, theatre room, etc. we never needed to leave the villa to enjoy our vacation. However, going to Broad beach infront of the villa was definitely paradise on earth. Doing business with the Sahafi's was a pleasure. They delivered as promised and promptly refunded our security deposit.

My family & I had a wonderful time at this property which was clean, spectacular & a great location. The owner has furnished this to a great standard & the pool was magnificent (and heated). The view from the main living room, where the whole wall can be opened, is to die for. The private beach is bonus not to be missed. Shopping & restaurants are very close & Santa Monica beach is 25 mins away. I would recommend this property without hesitation.
