Our one-room SunSuite is so perfectly located and affordably priced that any beach lover will simply be in paradise! We are less than 2 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Fripp Island…they are literally out the back side of the condo with no streets to cross to get there.
This second-level recently renovated SunSuite has a Queen-size bed and a sleeper sofa which features a Sleep Number mattress. The fully equipped kitchen features a refrigerator, a standard stove top range, and a new microwave-convection combo oven. You can easily fix fast and nutritious meals right at your home at the beach.
Located on the front side of the condo, you have fun views and easy access to the Olympia Pool as well as all the Beach Club area has to offer. You can just sit back in your deck chairs and enjoy the hum of activity. This is a smoke-free, pet friendly unit.
When you rent with us, you will receive FREE Amenity Cards for all your guests 12 and over. These card give you 100% access to all the golf courses, pools, restaurants, and family activities that Fripp has to offer. Most vacations last about 7 days, but a week at Fripp Island comes with enough memories to last a lifetime. There’s 3.5 miles of unspoiled, un-crowded white beach just waiting for your footprints in the sand. And when you want to take a break in the pool there are seven to choose from. During the summer season our Beach Rental Hut has cabana umbrellas, beach chairs and boogie boards for your pleasure. You can even get up a game of volleyball in front of the Beach Club.
The natural beauty of Fripp Island is legendary. From the lush subtropical scenes in the “Jungle Book” and Forest Gump” to the romantic ocean vistas in the “Price of Tides”, the images of Fripp Island will stay in your mind forever. Some 400 families of deer, raccoons and alligators live in perfect harmony with the residents of the island. And where the land meets the sea, the endangered Loggerhead Turtles return each year to lay their eggs along the dune line.
Tennis at Fripp Island is a year round sport. The Racquet Club with 8 fast-dry clay courts and two hard courts is directly across the street from the SunSuites. If your passion is water sports, you can explore the backwaters and creeks surrounding our island in one of our kayaks or canoes. The resort has so many rental toys you may want to stay an extra week just for the shear fun of it. Golf carts are the preferred method of transportation among guests on the island and can be rented by the week, day or hour. Biking is a great way to explore the island along miles of trails that connect you with every part of the resort. If mopeds are your thing, you can do your sightseeing at 25 mph.
The Activity Center is the focal point of all the great social programs on the island like “Meet the Animals." Kids will never forget their first experience at Camp Fripp. If you are 3-12 years old, it’s the most fun you can have with your sneakers on!! Each day is themed and ranges from Pirates of Skull Creek to Wild, Wild West and Mad Scientist Day.
If fishing is your passion, you’ll love coming here. Offshore fishing with our experienced charter guides can be arranged at the Marina Store. The Gulf Stream is abundant with sailfish, mahi-mahi, barracuda, kingfish, grouper and snapper. Inshore fishing for flounder, trout, drum and tarpon is popular around the island. The Marina hosts a number of fishing tournaments in the spring, summer and fall and expert guide service connections. At the end of the day, take a Sunset Cruise on our 49-ft pontoon boat or come early for the 2-hour Dolphin Cruise.
Two of the most spectacular golf courses in America are right here on Fripp Island. Ocean Point, a true seaside links course boasts dramatic views of the ocean or inlet on 10 of the 18 holes. On the south end of the island is Ocean Creek, Davis Love III’s first signature course. Ocean Creek offers magnificent panoramic views of the Great Salt Marsh and freshwater lakes with four distinctive rolling dune lines that come into play.
Do you still need more things to do?? Try Hunting Island State Park located just before Fripp Island. Hunting Island is the home for a real light house which is awesome to see and explore. Beaufort, SC is a very friendly bay town of the old south. It offers many fine restaurants and hours of good looking and shopping its many quaint walkways and southern shops. Beaufort also has a newly finished river walk that people of all ages can enjoy.

My husband and I stayed in the condo at the beginning of April. We're both originally from SC but now live in CT. We looked for the perfect place to stay for a couple of days in SC to get away from the cold and were not disappointed. The photos do not do justice. The decor is well chosen and very inviting, we couldn't have asked for more. The condo was super clean and well appointed for cooking if needed. The walk to the beach and amenities was very short and not a problem for us at all. If you are looking for a great place to stay at Fripp this is it.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.

We are a family of four from Beaufort SC who stayed in this unit for a weekend while playing inthe Fripp Island Fall Tennis Tournament. The owner responded promptly to my inquiries, was very pleasant and accommodating. This SunSuite is fabulous! The interior is beautiful, super clean, and very functional. We were surprisingly comfortable in this small unit and had all the things we needed to make our stay quite pleasant. Amenity cards are a must while staying on Fripp and having them included in this rental certainly added value. If we did not have amenity cards we would not have been able to use the pool or eat in the restaurants. If you're not into crowds, fall is the perfect season to visit Fripp Island. The weather was gorgeous, we practically had the Olympic pool to ourselves and the beach wasn't crowded. The down side is that the food court and restaurant at the Beach Club were closed for the season, but there were two other restaurants on the island that were open. Fripp Island is a family-friendly, relaxing place to stay for a weekend getaway or a vacation and this SunSuite is awesome!
