-- SECURITY DEPOSIT : : rental agent to hold US$1000 security deposit in case of damages on the property caused by renters. This deposit is returned by rental agent to renters after their stay, following a report from the property manager.

Hacienda Alegre has some of the best surf and beach area on Mexico’s largest bay. Walk down your private steps (30 steps) to 200 feet of very private sandy beach. This estate is centrally located just 20 miles north of Puerto Vallarta and a 10 minutes drive from Punta Mita, home of the Four Seasons. This estate is the only family residence on Banderas Bay offering a full time cook service, a 200 feet long ocean frontage, family sized swimming pool, full sized tennis court (just resurfaced), breathtaking sunsets, burros rides, and 2 acres of lush tropical gardens. You’ll find excellent surfing right in front of the house, offering both a right and left break. The cook prepares fine Mexican cuisine and magical margaritas- so they take care of the breakfast, lunch, dinner, appetizers, cocktails and all of the dishes. There is an amazing abundance of colorful tropical birds, frolicking whales and dolphins in the winter and early spring.
Ideal for families, reunions and business retreats for up to 18 people with 9 bedrooms and 9 1/2 baths. We are restricting the number of people to 12 however.

THE EXPERIENCE:
Hacienda Alegre is unique. The main house overlooks the beach from a 25-foot cliff with sweeping, uninterrupted views east to Puerto Vallarta against a back drop of Matisse-style mountains around the horse-shoe-shaped Bay of Banderas. To the west, you look along the rugged coastline towards the Pacific Ocean. Surfing is a daily delight. The sunsets (and cocktail hour) are magical from the large patio. During the winter and early spring, the bay is visited by whales, dolphins and other interesting sea characters. Every day, summer or winter, the lines of pelicans gliding above the ocean waves never cease to amaze.

All bedrooms and common areas have ceiling fans and air-conditioning and all bedrooms have outdoors decks/patios over-looking gardens and/or gardens and ocean views.

Maximum 14 guests (including children/babies). We welcome non-smokers and no pets. We do not encourage bachelor groups and weddings. We try to keep Hacienda Alegre a relaxing nature retreat.
Security deposit is required.
Laundry facility not available to renters. Staff will take customer’s laundry off-site.

Getting There: rental car is recommended for transport. We are located:
35 km north from downtown Puerto Vallarta.
40 minute drive north of the PV airport.
20 minute drive north of Bucerias
10 minute drive north of Lu Cruz Huanacaxtle.
5 minute drive south of Punta Mita.
30 minute drive to Sayulita
