This 3rd floor 3-BR, 2-BA, 1645 sq. ft. corner unit is at One Ludington Place. 2-king beds & 2-sets of bunk beds sleep 8 in comfort & luxury. Master suite includes an oversized shower & soaking tub. Fully equipped kitchen, cozy fireplace, & separate laundry room with full sized W/D provide all you need for a carefree getaway. Activities abound with the beautiful beach & lighthouse just 5-blocks away. Parks, shops, & over a dozen nice restaurants are within a much shorter walk. Rainy day entertainment includes 3-HDTVs, 2-DVD players, as well as many books, puzzles & games. Two natural gas grills near the pool area are available for your use. Bed, bath & kitchen linens are provided.

Why the Owner Chose Ludington
Five generations of my family have enjoyed relaxing on Ludington beaches and marveling at beautiful sunsets over Lake Michigan. In the 1920's, my grandparents bought vacation property in Ludington. My grandfather wrote in his journal that Ludington provided a great “hub” from which the family could “reach out” to other parts of Western Michigan. He recorded how much the family enjoyed experiencing Ludington. There was an activity for everyone. In 1993 we visited Ludington for the first time as adults and immediately fell in love with the area. We return at least twice a year to unwind and have fun. Coming to Ludington in the spring and again for fall colors, we invariably spend at least two days on road trips, both north and south. The rest of our week we kick back and enjoy the immediate Ludington area. Every time we come, we discover a new aspect of the area we didn’t know existed.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
In 2008, we contracted to purchase a condo at One Ludington Place. We were guided by the old adage of “location, location, location.” One Ludington Place and its great pool are right in the center of things. We can walk to the beach, to the lighthouse, to downtown with its shopping and to great restaurants. It’s a short drive to Ludington State Park or to just about anything else we want to do. Similarly, location inspired us to purchase our particular condo during pre-construction. With a corner unit on the third floor, we can LOOK OUT at everything around us. We can LOOK OUT at the pool, at the municipal marina, at Waterfront Park with its playground, band shell, and sculpture park. We can even LOOK OUT at the car ferry “S.S. Badger” at dock and as it cruises into and out of Ludington Harbor. We named our condo, “LUDINGTON LOOKOUT”. In mid 2009, construction was completed, we purchased “LUDINGTON LOOKOUT” and have furnished it with all new furniture, appliances, bedding, etc. As a tribute to my grandparents, we’ve included a little memorabilia from their trips to Ludington.

We loved our stay at the Lookout! The condo had everything we needed and wanted, and was close to the lake, restaurants, park, and pool. Ludington exceeded our expectations too, as it was not crowded (even during a peak weekend - 8/14-16) and all attractions were very close to each other. The only downside was that our kids want to live in that condo instead of at home.
