This listing is brand new, so be sure and check the calendar, we have a lot of open dates! Our "cabin" is a spacious 3 story, including basement, with a lot of room to spread out. It is located less than a half a block from beautiful Clear Lake and a block from the famous Surf Ballroom! In a mostly shaded setting, our house has a large second story deck in front, and a small, secluded, backyard patio, surrounded by hackberry trees. We have a small foosball/air hockey table, games, books, videos/dvds, charcoal grill, karaoke machines and two bicycles for your enjoyment. With extra rooms in the house we have 7 beds, including a sleep number bed, and can sleep up to 7 people comfortably, up to 11 people cozily and with a hide a bed & air mattress, even more.
We are seven blocks from downtown Clear Lake, Lady of the Lake paddle boat, antique shops, boutiques, and in walking distance from many fine restaurants and live music at the Surf! 150 steps to a public dock at the lake. Clear Lake has constant activities, shows and attractions. We have a new public swimming pool with water slides, the Fort Custer Maze and a casino 20 miles north. We are four miles from Mason City Airport. Clear Lake is right on Interstate 35 in North Central Iowa about a 1/2 hour drive from the Minnesota border. - Downtown Clear Lake is bustling with activities every weekend at the City Park. Take a ride on the The Lady of the Lake, a huge paddle boat holding 150 people, docked there. A swimming pool with water slides just recently opened. The Fort Custer maze is a lot of fun! Live music at the Surf ballroom.

Why the Owner Chose Clear Lake
We chose this location because we are so close to the lake. Nestled in a friendly residential neighborhood, to the south we are half block from the lake at a public access dock, to the north, 3 blocks is highway 18, 3 minutes to Interstate 35, and to the east one block from live music at the Surf Ballroom and many great places to eat, in a small commercial area.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The neighborhood is filled with a nice mix of fulltime residents and cabin owners that come up on the weekends to enjoy the small town friendliness. We enjoy our neighbors by yard hopping to each one's fire pit, walking to the lake, boating, dining at the homey Half Moon and catching the latest show or band at the Surf!
