  This condo exceeded our expectations! The location was great. The entire complex is looked after extremely well and the BBQ areas,laundry facilities and garbage/recycling facilities are excellent. We loved listening to the ocean and watching the surfers.The condo itself has all you need including beach chairs and boogie boards. It is quiet at night so you can sleep well!There are golfing courses close by and it's easy to go to San Diego for a day. Christine was easy to work with and very friendly/ We plan to return! We spent 6 weeks at this condo and loved it. It's a great place for "snowbirds"!! Taylors Canada

  If you have a small family, you will not find a better value for a beach vacation! And this is beach FRONT... amazing! Want to walk out your front door, down a flight of stairs and have your toes in the sand in 35 seconds? That's literally how long it takes! We've stayed in many VRBOs, but this is the 1st time we were able to take our kids with us to a beach front accomodation. We stayed here for two weeks in the last half of September 2010. Our 2 boys (7 and 9) had a blast learning to boogey board (provided) in the great surf and swimming in the 2 wonderful pools. We collected buckets full of cool shells, played football and baseball on the soft sand and enjoyed walking up and down the strand right in front of the condo all the way down to the picturesque pier. At the end of the pier, there is a hamburger joint with dynamite ice cream shakes- in fact, they have a shake happy hour every afternoon there. Try the chocolate turtle shake with ribbons of carmel through it- incredible! Ice cream cones, fried clams, great pizza and souvenirs are down the beach the opposite way in the marina. The condo itself is very clean and up to date. Light and airy, we had the ocean breeze blowing in with the calming sounds of the surf below our deck at all times. We couldn't bring ourselves to close the windows! We had plenty of room between the four of us with a huge Master bedroom and a futon and folding cot (the boys refused to sleep on the same bed!) in the family room. I am very into physical fitness, and I was very pleased with the workout areas both for cardio as well as weight lifting. The beach is beautiful and unpretentious and you get a space in the gated, covered parking area. It just doesn't get any better than this. And you don't have to blow your bank account or run up your credit cards to afford a beach vacation here. We will absolutely come back, no doubt in our minds! Thanks so much Christine!!

  We really enjoyed our stay in July of 2009 and the apartment was exactly as described. Refund of deposit was prompt. Highly recommended and pricing is very reasonable.

  Perfect Condo. Everything you can imagine is there. Lots of information about shops and sights. Very well organized. The Owner is very helpful. The Condo as in the pictures shown and teh beach really just one minute waway. THX Udo Falk

  Just wanted to thank you for an great vacation. The location was great, the little extras were much appreciated and we felt like we were lucky to have found such a great spot. We have stayed at a lot of different units over the years, some bigger, but none had the same attention to the things that would make the place feel more like home. From the welcome basket of goodies to games, books, toiletries, guide books, beach equipment etc., we felt like you went that extra step to make sure our vacation was as smooth as possible. I even cooked a great Easter dinner for friends from LA that came to visit. In fact, they enjoyed the balcony so much, they were talking about how nice it would be to have the spot for a week themselves. Can I give them your info directly? In any event, we are already talking about coming again next year - I will check the school schedule and see when the vacation week falls so that we don't miss out. Once again, thank you and I look forward to seeing you both again.

  No negative comments to report at all! Love the "high" chairs on the balcony and all the area info and snacks in the baskets. You were right - Rockin Baja Lobster was great! It was also nice meeting you even upon our late arrival - appreciate the courtesy.

  We feel fortunate to have found such a gem! Attention to detail makes this unit inviting and relaxing. We appreciate how clean it was and how it has everything we needed right at our fingertips.
