Treat yourself to some special time at the Pacific Ocean--- just breathe in the fresh salt air and RELAX! Our Beach Cottage is virtually new, and has been rarely used by us, the owners. This is your time to rest, play, and follow your bliss.
The house is waterfront- on one of the many canals in Ocean Shores, and provides superb wildlife viewing! Virtually, all of our guests prefer the canal "action" over a beachfront or oceanview location. Each visit allows the opportunity to watch a variety of Canadian Geese, birds of prey, various diving birds, river otters, Mallards, and yes, Blue Herons. Most likely, you'll also see a few deer in your wanderings. Be sure to bring your binoculars and camera.
Walk a short mile to the beach or the Bay for a change of scenery. Depending on the time of year, you may be lucky enough to brave through a Winter storm on the jetty. Ocean Shores boasts a PGA rated Golf Course as well as some of the finest beach combing on the West Coast. Don't be too surprised to discover a Japanese Glass Ball after a storm. Daring to try your hand at some Blackjack or play the slots? The Quinalt Casino is only a five minute drive away. As you dine in their restaurant, Emily's, you enjoy an unobstructed ocean view and are tempted with beautifully displayed buffets.
Our private boatdock gives you passage to the many canals and Duck Lake. So, feel free to bring your own small watercraft and fishing gear. Community boatdocks are close by for launching your larger craft.
You, your friends and/or family are sure to enjoy the open floor plan which places the Great Room and full gourmet kitchen (vaulted ceilings) in the center of the home. The lovely modern kitchen is completely equipped for your cooking fancies. One side of the home features the Master Bedroom, Full Bath with two sinks, Walk In Closet. A separate Utility Room provides entry to and from the Garage. The other two bedrooms and full bath are located on the other side. Picture windows grace the major rooms across the back side of the house, affording an abundance of natural light and scenery. There is a back deck off of the Great Room and Master Bedroom--- perfect for a special and peaceful place to drink morning coffee or that glass of wine with friends. Each bedroom has a new Queen size bed and themed decor. There are skylights in the Great Room and second bathroom.
The Entertainment Armoire contains a Color TV with Dish connection, VCR/ DVD, movies on video, and games. Baskets of books provide guests a selection of books for reading pleasure. The local library is a great resource for books, history on the area, and videos. First run movies play at the Ocean Shores Cinema.
