Fully and Beautifully Furnished-Just bring your toothbrush (we even have new ones, in case you forget yours)-We are a professional couple recently relocated to the Washington, DC area, for a position that will keep us there at least 2 years. We've just added a new 52" LCD HDTV with a Blue Ray DVD player in the family room, a new quiet Kitchenaid dishwasher, and new set of formal china to compliment the Mikasa everyday china. In the laundry/craft room we have a new set of front loading washer/dryer, small extra freezer, crafts, even a sewing machine.
The garage closet is filled with beach hats, beach chairs, boogie boards, bikes, tennis racquets etc. Our home is large, over 2700 sq ft. not counting the large craft/ laundry room. In the family room we have games, DVDs, an extra computer with high speed internet- WIFI through the house and on and on.
There are ten French doors to bring in the Pacific ocean breeze (yes, there is air conditioning but it is rarely needed), built-in stainless steel outdoor grill off the kitchen deck, casual off kitchen dining and well stocked kitchen cabinets (even spices and cookbooks) for cooking and entertaining, granite counters, large pantry, 4 fireplaces, 3 decks with furniture, 22' soaring ceiling in the living room with glass block towers for extra light, two large live palms, formal dining room with one of the fireplaces in the corner for added ambience. Downstairs we have an oversize two car garage-gated community. A perfect place for long term vacationers, a corporate rental while house hunting or on a business project, or while you are renovating your home.
Anyone that wants a well appointed home with nearly everything included, this is your place. We even have sunscreen, toiletries, beach towels and TVs in all bedrooms. The twin bedroom, has a beautiful rattan/wood day bed that can be converted to two twins or a king size bed. All beds have memory foam mattress toppers for a delightful night's sleep. There is an extra desktop computer in the office complete with Wi-Fi, printer/scanner, and fax.
Our home is part of a ten home/condo community but feels like a single family home. There is only one wall connecting to another unit and there is no noise transference. We have a beautiful fountain in the gated courtyard just outside the front door. There is a 1 month minimum-we prefer 2-3 mos, we have rented for $5,500.00 to $5,800.00 per month in the past and can provide excellent references from other renters.
The rent is only $4900.00 per month and includes all utilities. Sorry, no weekly rentals are allowed in our development. Email for more photos and showing information. If you are interested in being just 7-8 miles from LAX, 35-45 mins from Beverly Hills and two hours from San Diego then this is the home for you. Wine Country is only a few hours away, as is Palm Springs, Las Vegas is 5 hours.
Pets considered on a per tenant basis with deposit, we prefer no pets, but will consider pets. We have excellent housekeeping avx for weekly or bi-monthly cleanings at $120. per day.
This is an executive home, Our home is well maintained, well appointed and we would appreciate someone that would truly care for our home. We would love to find tenants to enjoy our home while we are in DC, and all the amenities in our area like, the boardwalk, beach, Redondo Pier, cafes, coffee shops, library you name it, so much is within easy walking or biking distance. It is a short bike ride to Hermosa- the famous Strand, but without the parking problems that Hermosa and Manhattan Beach provide. Across the street from Veterans Park and the Pier.

Why the Owner Chose Redondo Beach
This is our main home-we love the area, our neighbors, proximity to Hollywood, Venice Beach, Santa Monica, wine country, San Diego and Palm Springs. Redondo Beach is just a short commute to LA but living here has more of a small village feel. You can walk to many areas including Hollywood Riviera (filled with shopping and cafes), or walk just a few doors down to restaurants, cafes, nightclubs, library, coffee shops, get your nails done, grab a massage, ride your bike on a multi-mile bike path all very near. Fabulous location-site of many movie shoots. We would buy here all over again. Come and enjoy a long vacation in sunny California! The Palos Verde cliffs are just to our left and Santa Monica/Malibu is to our right. Catalina Island is a short 26 mile boat ride away and Donald Trump's famous Palos Verde golf course is about a thirty minute drive along a beautiful coastline.
The Unique Benefits at this Private Townhome
The list is endless. We are directly across from a large lush park where there is a farmer's market with fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers and food every Thursday. This park is directly on the Pacific Ocean. We walk daily for miles in both direction on a paved boardwalk, watch dolphin and surfers mingle in the waves, sometimes spot whales cruising along the coast. There are coffee shops, breakfast places, fine dining, nightclubs, a harbor for deep sea fishing excursions, kayak rentals, places for massages, nail and hair salons and all within walking distance. If you want the big city, a short drive will take you to professional sports, Hollywood, Rodeo Drive etc. A perfect spot to relax and still be able to sightsee the amazing sights in Los Angeles and southern California. LAX is only 15 mins from our home.

A straight drive on Route 1 Pacific Coast Hwy, and over one block from our house from the airport-10-20 min depending on traffic.
This is the famous Rodeo Drive, Hollywood, Kodak Theatre-Academy Awards Theatre, LaBrea Tar Pits, Hollywood Sign and on and on. About a 45 min drive-more or less depending on traffic.
Parking is $7 or $8 dollars, and otherwise free. J. Paul Getty donated millions and millions to build a museum to house his art and collect more. The best views in LA, plus gardens, restaurants...

My Husband and I love our home in Redondo Beach. It is fully furnished and was our main home. My husband has been asked to be a Senior Advisor in Washington DC for 2-4 years. We decided to keep our home here in California and rent it out furnished on a monthly basis. This is a gorgeous, well maintained home and a fun filled area.
