This complex of 81 units was built in the late 80's Mexican style (brick, mortar and poured concrete) and has been meticulously maintained. This is fully secured gated community, staffed 24/7. You will be taken aback by the meticulously maintained botanical garden and tropical surroundings. The full sized pool, waterfall and palapa have been completely renovated. (summer '09)
Your unit retains the beautiful authentic hand turned Mexican tile flooring, while the full sized kitchen and bathrooms have been renovated with a Mexican flair to more reflect today's tastes. The condo was completely refurnished in the spring of '09 and includes all new bedding, Sealy mattresses, full sized leather couch, 42" PLASMA and 19" flat screen TV's.
This corner unit features unique bi-fold doors which open up the 24' terrace almost completely allowing the fresh ocean breezes to flow through and naturally cool the condo. While ceiling fans are in place, there is no need for air conditioning, as the temperatures on the hillside are typically 10 to 15 degrees cooler than the beachfront! Liberating! My husband and I live in beautiful city of Minneapolis, MN and love the urban setting and the change of seasons this part of the country offers. While we enjoy cross country skiing and snow shoeing, it is hard to curl your toes into frozen sand.

We both love Mexico, we love the climate, the culture and the people. The tropical setting of Puerto Vallarta, the almost perfect weather, combined with urban amenities only an authentic city can provide made our choice easy.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Puesta Del Sol is unlike any other complex in Vallarta. The lush gardens are amazing. Due to the location on the hillside, and the unique construction of the buildings, air conditioning is not needed. Not having to close everything up is so liberating, to enjoy the fresh ocean breezes and wake up in the morning and see the ocean from your bed is incredible.

My husband and I stayed here for what we affectionately refer to as our "Babymoon," one last us-trip before having our first baby! The property is perfect! Our favorite feature was the large wrap-around porch, amazing views of the Bay and floor to ceiling doors that open and create the most amazing airy and breezy environment. The owners have resources in the condo with all the information needed for local dining, sight-seeing, day trip planning, and even a Majic Jack for making phone calls! The condo is 4 short blocks from the water and is a pleasant walk to dinner, shopping, art galleries and the Malecon. The staff at the front desk were most helpful in getting us a taxi when needed, making dinner reservations and any needs we had during our stay. The condo is quite, the pool is amazing and is the ultimate location for relaxation! The gated front desk assured us security was a priority and we didn't once think about our safety. My husband and I will definitely be booking another stay at this condo and can't wait to come back!

My friend and I stayed at Puesta Del Sol for a week in January and can't rave enough about what an amazing condo it is! We had a great time and the condo had an amazing view of the ocean and the garden, it was decorated well and was very comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful and the kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking utensils you need. I would recommend Puesta del Sol to anyone who is planning on going to Puerta Vallarta and wants a place that isn't too touristy or loud and is absolutely beautiful!

We really enjoyed Puesta del Sol. The location in town was perfect. You are close to everything and can easily catch a taxi or bus to any place a little farther out. The condo itself was beautiful and had everything you need to "live" on your vacation. I also liked having a front desk who could help with any questions or provide services like cleaning etc. We will definitey look for availabilities at Puesta del Sol for our next trip to Vallarta.
