There is hardly anything to compare with Makena Surf on the whole island – look at the pictures and you will see, we are right on the beach.
We are on the third floor of the building, the top floor.We have the best view, and no neighbors on top of us.We are in the building right on the beach of all the Makena Surf buildings. And the beach is exquisite, right in front of the condo. Lots of sand, lots of fish, and even turtles. Talk about paradise.
We bought Makena our condo in 2007 and spent a few hundred thousand dollars (!) on a complete upgrade, renovation, and furnishing. So it’s just beautiful.

Makena Surf is the ultimate Maui condo resort in Makena – perfect for Hawaii family getaways and Hawaii honeymoon vacations. Located just minutes from the upscale Wailea resort area, this luxurious, security-gated Maui beach condo resort features central air-conditioning with breathtaking views of the Pacific. As our guest, you'll also enjoy access to two swimming pools and two whirlpool spas, four tennis courts, and 90 holes of championship golf at the nearby Wailea and Makena resort golf courses.
One of our most popular Maui condo resort villages, Makena Surf is located right on Paipu Beach on Maui's southwest coast. Nearly one-half mile long, the absolutely stunning Paipu Beach offers great swimming, fantastic snorkeling, easy access and good boogie boarding when there's surf. Best of all, this is one of the least known and least crowded beaches in Maui's Wailea and Makena resort areas.
In order to best serve our visitors we have selected Destination Resorts Hawaii as our on-island management company. Servicing Wailea owners and their guests for over 30 years, we have found that they quickly react to any needs or concerns that our guests may have, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Their guest care program encompasses Front Desk (check-in and registration), Housekeeping, Maintenance, Concierge and Emergency Repair Services.
Our guests check in 24-hours a day with a live person, not fumble with a lockbox or emailed instructions. During your stay, assistance is available from the Reception Office seven days a week to address your requests and inquiries.
When booking our unit, there are no additional check-out or cleaning fees. Included in our daily rate is a Deluxe Housekeeping Service which is provided every 3 days by a professional staff, many whom have been with the company and servicing our unit for many years.
Deluxe Housekeeping includes complete vacuuming of the condominium, change of bed linens, cleaning of the lanai tabletops and floors, exchanging soiled bathroom towels, cleaning of bathrooms and restocking of bath amenities, cleaning of kitchen and loading dishwasher, removal of trash, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting furniture, and cleaning countertops and tabletops.
If you prefer more frequent service, Daily Housekeeping can also be provided for an additional fee.
Their Concierge Desk provides expert information and personalized service for all your vacation needs including all activities, snorkel & beach gear rentals, golf, dining, maps, massage, local insider tips, grocery delivery, car rental, baby equipment rental and much more.
In the unlikely event a maintenance issue arises, an on-call Maintenance team can be dispatched 7 days a week. And a manager is on duty and on call 24-hours a day to coordinate any emergency repairs.
