Year Purchased: 1986
The owner with her youngest daughter. If hiking and biking and fishing are activities that you enjoy, you will feel right at home in Teton Valley in the summertime. Close enough to Jackson Hole to enjoy being a tourist, but come home to the quiet side of the Tetons!
Why the Owner Chose Driggs
We bought this old farmhouse in 1987, not only was the location the best that we could imagine, it was in the school district of the Alta Elementary, which is the best little private-public elementary school we had to choose from at that time. It has been a great place to raise a family, but now that they have all flown the coop, it seems that it is a place to be shared with others!
The Unique Benefits of this Townhome
Coming home to Teton Hideaway has always felt to me to be a refuge from the hustle and bustle of life, and the privacy and beautiful surroundings makes me feel like I am in a very special place indeed. You can hear the birds singing in the morning, and located at the end of a gravel road, there is no traffic and the evening sky is totally unobstructed by any lights.
