This luxurious, fully furnished golf course resort home overlooks the 4th fairway of the Persimmon Country Club, and it is located in the private gated neighborhood of The Landing in beautiful Anthem, AZ. The property is located near the end of a cul-de-sac so the area is very quiet, private and secure.
Nestled in the foothills of the high Sonoran Desert and just 15 minutes north of Phoenix, Anthem has been voted the #1 planned community in all of America. This property is the perfect spot to relax and soak in the sun and beautiful blue skies, or to use as your home base for adventure. Whether you are here for a world class golf vacation, major league baseball spring training, or a family vacation, you will fall in love with this property and the surrounding area.
Anthem is just off the beaten path enough to be quiet, quaint and relaxing, yet close to everything. The property is just off exit #229 of I-17 which provides quick and easy access to the greater Phoenix area freeway system and a quick exit north to Sedona and the Grand Canyon.
This beautiful single-level home sleeps six adults comfortably, and has all new furniture, furnishings and decor. It is fully stocked with everything needed for your stay. The yard has been landscaped in beautiful Sonoran desert and the interior has many upgrades including ceiling fans in every room and tile floors throughout the house.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered patio off the kitchen and master bedroom and watch the breathtaking views of the hot air balloons in the morning sky, or watch the first golfers of the day teeing off. Finish your day under the stars with a glass of wine while sitting at poolside with the fire pit flames dancing in the night sky. We've even provided colorful Mexican blankets for you to wrap up in on a cool evening.
The back yard has panoramic views of Daisy Mountain, Gavilan Peak, and the Persimmon Country Club. It is a fabulous spot for entertaining or just relaxing and with no one directly behind, this property is very private. The back yard has an in-ground HEATED pool with a wok-pot water feature, fire pit, built-in gas BBQ with bar and high-top table, and a covered patio with ceiling fan. The east/west exposure offers maximum views of beautiful Daisy Mountain, and the wrought iron viewing-fence offers spectacular desert and golf course views.
The master bedroom suite has a luxurious king-sized bed with new pillow-top mattress, dual nightstands, matching master dresser, 42" LCD flat-panel television with cable access, and plantation shutters that open to reveal majestic sunrises. The bedroom opens directly onto the patio. The master bathroom has a Roman soaking tub, separate glass walk-in shower, and generous walk-in closet.
The second bedroom has a luxurious queen-sized bed with new pillow-top mattress, matching nightstand and dresser, and a ceiling fan for your comfort.
The oversized den doubles as a third bedroom and has double French doors for your privacy. It is furnished with a writing desk, library, and sofa that coverts into a king-sized bed for additional guests. A queen-sized air mattress is also available for your use. Bring your laptop and connect to the internet for unlimited high-speed cable access. Wireless internet connectivity is available as well.
The great family room is comfortable and spacious. It is equipped with a media center, 47" LCD flat-panel television with cable access, DVD player and library, iPod/mp3-ready stereo system, Xbox, and plenty of comfortable seating for you and your guests to enjoy the gas fireplace and spectacular mountain and pool views.
The kitchen is well equipped with top of the line appliances including microwave, large refrigerator with icemaker and ice water, gas range and oven, dishwasher, sink disposal, toaster, and coffee maker. The cabinets are stocked with dishes, glasses, cups, utensils and silverware, coffee maker for your morning coffee, and a blender for your margaritas. The kitchen also has a breakfast bar with three stools, and the adjacent dinette seats six adults comfortably.
The closets are stocked with bed linens and bath towels and there is a laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer for your convenience. The laundry room also includes an iron and ironing board, plus a clothes steamer to remove those wrinkles from your travels.
The entire home was painted and decorated in 2009 and all the furniture and furnishing are brand new.

Why the Owner Chose Anthem
We love the Sonoran desert foothills of Anthem. Anthem's fabulous Community Park is just steps from the house. The park contains several picnic ramads, a man-made lake for catch and release fishing, the Daisy Mountain scale model railroad train for the kids (and parents), numerous soccer and ball fields, roller-hockey rink, and hiking trails. We enjoy the numerous outdoor concerts and planned activities in the park.
We love to jump in the car for a quick 20 minute drive to Cave Creek. You can experience the true Arizona in Cave Creek - eclectic shopping, art galleries and the unrivaled beauty of the Sonoran Desert. There are more than 30 restaurants to choose from; everything from fine dining to cowboy cook-outs. In the area you'll find horseback riding, rodeos, country and western dancing, museums, parks and nature preserves, hiking and biking and old mining tours.
We also love to take a 75 minute drive north on I-17 to the red rock formations of Sedona. In Sedona you'll find one-of-a-kind art galleries, shopping, spas, and restaurants. Surrounding the town you'll find fantastic hiking and adventures galore. Don't miss the pink jeep rides!
The Grand Canyon is an easy 3 hour day trip north.
If you love the water, Lake Pleasant is a short 15 minute drive. With its 50 miles of shoreline it is a boating enthusiast's paradise offering rental ski boats, party pontoons, and fishing boats for great fishing.
We also love to take in Greesewood Flats. It is a great place to kick back and have a beer and a burger outside at a picnic table while listening to live entertainment. At night you can sit around a bonfire or pitch horseshoes under the lights.
And, if your up for world-class shopping, Kierland and Scottsdale are within a 30 minute drive.

My wife and I purchased this vacation home in 2008. We live in Minneapolis, MN and love coming to AZ to get away from the winter cold and snow! We have spent numerous hours furnishing and finishing this home for our personal use as well as for our guests. We hope to spend more and more time in Anthem each year.
