Had I written this on the day we arrived, it would not be a good review. VRBO says the rental is ocean view...it's not. Says it has a fully equipped kitchen....it didn't. Says there are beach towels for use....there weren't. But, I sent one e-mail to the rental company and within hours, the owner showed up with supplies and VRBO description had been changed!!! I'm pretty easy-going so I wasn't too bent out of shape. I was, however, super impressed that the owner cared enough to fix the problems while we were there! He could easily have said, "well, I'll deal with it when they leave," but he brought a whole box of pots and pans, 5 beach chairs, light bulbs and other things, and explained that he didn't realize how much stuff was missing. The condo was clean and the air conditioner worked great, and those two things are most important to me. The beds were super comfy and the pool was nice and close (and cleaned every day!!!). If I ever make it back to Destin, I would most certainly rent this unit again. I'm really sad that I'm home, in my condo, and the beach isn't a short walk away :(

St. Martin Villas was very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. it was close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and fun in Destin! It was a great place to take a vacation, and I would recommend to anyone!

Family Friendly and close to all the great activities, attractions and restaurants...just a short walk to the beach and we loved being so close to everything. The unit was as neat as a pin and there was ample room for all of us. The owners were very helpful and checked in with us to be sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to coming back next year.

We enjoyed our stay. The description on vrbo was very accurate. The only complaint was the carpet was nasty. Stains was present throughout the house, and it did not look clean. We did not want to go without shoes while walking on the carpet. The condo was clean and well maintained besides that.
Owner response:I am glad you enjoyed your stay here. Right after your stay, this condo had new carpet installed. We had received a ton of traffic of renters that summer so with a cream colored carpet...everything showed up. We learned our lesson with that and our renters continue to return with happiness.
