We absolutely loved our stay at Rocky Knob. The cabin is nestled in the mountain side and there are no houses around providing wonderful privacy for you and your guest (s). The yard is nicely decorated with flowers and plants and it is quite tasteful. Birds can be heard all around as well as the buzzing of bees pollinating the flowering plants in the backyard. Wind chimes are strung all around the wrap-around porch and they provide a delightful sound. The location is peaceful and beautiful. The interior has a truly welcoming feel. There is a fireplace, lovely decorated rooms, cozy beds, and enough blankets for your comfort. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and is equipped with everything you would need. Both Pam and David were available to answer all of my questions before and during the trip. It was a pleasure renting this gorgeous cabin from them. Pam and David, thank you both for making our first trip to the mountains of North Georgia such a memorable experience. I definitely plan to stay here again!

Rocky Knob was perfect for our family to be able to get away and have time together. The cabin is so comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was right there. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Very relaxing and we hope to be able to go back.

Perfect anniversary

Just spent 3 nights in this cozy cabin with great view. David and Pam are such fab hosts. All the amenities were there plus an anniversary celebration bottle of champagne! The cabin is decorated for Christmas which was the best touch ever! We will definitely return to this adorable property that is missing, well, nothing!

Honeymoon Stay

This was the most beautiful stay I could have ever had. I stayed here for my honeymoon and couldn't have asked for anything more. The owners made sure we felt right at home. Even left the lights on so we could find it since we came in so late. The cabin was wonderfully maintained and in perfect condition. Any questions we had we always got a prompt answer. I even had a tooth ache during the stay and the owners helped us find a local dentist. We weren't even there for a day and started talking about the next time we will stay, hopefully an anniversary! The closeness of a resort made the stay even more awesome. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle!

As you can see, we loved your cabin. The location was beautiful and very convenient to the Georgia Mountain Fair Fall Festival. You have it beautifully and tastefully decorated and you thought about everything we might need -- even olive oil. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The photos did not do your cabin justice. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer, but we hope to be back at Rocky Knob. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and for checking to make sure we had everything we needed.

Mountain Retreat

Our two weeks at Rocky Knob cabin were delightful. The cabin is in a great location - only about a mile up the mountain from the highway yet it is secluded and the woods around it are filled with birds and other wildlife. While we didn't see any bears they are in the area. Everything that you could possibly need is provided and the cabin was very clean. There are a number of golf courses nearby which we enjoyed and the restaurants are plentiful. Don't miss "La Dolce Vita" (execellent Italian food) and "Brothers" (great fried green tomatoes). The owners were extremely gracious and responsive to our needs.

When I go to the Internet and look for vacation rentals, I often wonder if the images truly represent the cabin. This time, the rental was actually better than what I saw on the website. The cabin was extremely clean and well furnished. The attention to detail by the Wades is impressive. We will be back.

Once again we had a wonderful time here at Rocky Knob. The summer sunsets were just beauitiful! We enjoyed the area, the Georgia Mountain Fair, Fires creek Recration Area, and Mary Ann's Restaurant, among many other things. We have had a wonderful 5 days staying in your beautiful cabin. As I am writing this it has been raining softly and the would be sunset is fading in the distance. We stayed here during our children's spring break from school and found the end of winter/beginning of spring time to be just beautiful in this area. What a joy! We couldn't have chosen a better place! Your cabin is beautiful...we felt as if we were the first to have ever stayed here.
