  Can't say enough good about this house, It felt like Home away from Home..My husband and I stay in Surfside one week every year for his Birthday, this was the 1st time at this house and won't be the last..3 blocks from the beach not much futher to the Jettys and 10 minutes from San Luis Pass when we want to go fishing..Had a few friends up for weekend to celebrate his Birthday and they all loved the comforts of this house..Very friendly neighbors that welcomed us..Had the best week yet here!!

  We had a blast at the beach! Minutes away from Great Fishing and Crabbing. Short walk to good swimming. We will definitely be back. The upper deck was beautiful at sunset, the fireworks were an added bonus and the kids didn't find us until the last day!! Plenty of space for everyone.

  We spent a week at this rental house. Had a great time! Grandkids thought the upstairs was awesome. Plenty of room for all of us, 4 adults 4 children. Great location.

  - The house itself was very clean and absolutely comfortable. Interior decorating was very homey. The rooms were very comfortable and the owners even had deck lounge chair cushions available for use stored in the master bedroom. Plenty of linens. The stairs up to the house are a real work out too, so we knew we weren't just bumming around. Just make sure to bring basic necessities like paper towels and toilet paper (4-hr trip and to find out no toilet paper will catch you off guard lol). - The view was absolutely beautiful. We absolutely enjoyed both decks. Even my friend's dog enjoyed the deck. But please be aware, you'll need plenty of mosquito repellent and citron candles nearby. First day was fine. That night it rained a little, and the next morning they were swarming. - My family, friends and I loved the fact that the beach was in walking distance. - Service was amazing. The owner was very helpful with the rates so the whole package was well worth it. We had a little issue with the bbq pit, but the owner was absolutely amazing with answering us back quickly with our problem so it was pretty surprising. The service from the owners made the stay enjoyable. - The stay was excellent. I rented the house for a place to spend time and relax with family and friends from out of town after my graduation that morning. We were absolutely bummed we couldn't stay more than 2 nights. - I'd definitely recommend.

  This little beach house was positively adorable and I cannot thank the owners enough for being so gracious and accommodating. I did quite a bit of shopping around for a last-minute holiday weekend for a beach rental that allowed large dogs. We found a few options that were slightly less expensive (and had fewer amenities etc.) but by the time the other websites and their management companies started tacking on fees and pet deposits, this rental ended up being quite the bargain. Moreover, we were accommodated with an early check-in and late check-out and a garage full of deck chairs, and beach stuff. The place is actually larger than it appears in the photos. It’s also closer to the beach than it looks on all the maps (i.e. close enough to mosey back and forth). There’s a wagon in the garage so you don’t have to haul a cooler in the car. The best part was that we apparently picked a weekend to go when a huge party invaded Surfside and were totally oblivious to it. It was not crowded at all. I’d go back anytime.

  Good location off beach rental. Near enough for ocean sounds and easy beach access but away from traffic noise. Decent resturants and package stores nearby, and many more over the bridge. Best resturants nearby are the Red Snapper Inn and the PurpleCow. Raised decks perfect for outdoor dining and such, without mosquitos. Home clean and well maintained. All appliances functioned as expected. Master bedroom spacious and bed comfortable. The only negative pertaints to the toilets, which often did not fully flush the first round. Good birding traveling directly north from Surfside Beach. Recommend this property and the area itself for a relaxed vacation. Don't forget the mosquito repellant.

  When we walked into this home, we knew we were going to have a great time. The balconies were awesome. If we were not on the the beach we were enjoying the top deck. Great view! There were 8 us us, 4 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of room. We will definately stay here again.

  Had my 2 daughters birthday celebrations here and we had a fantastic time. Its a short walk from the beach and there were plenty of places for all of the girls (daughters brought friends) to hang out and sleep. The house was immaculate when we arrived and had everything you could need. Only items to bring would be food, water, paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper and toiletries. The rest is all there such as linens, dishes, kitchen utensils, cleaning products...We loved the place and would love to return!

  This home is a very nice home. The decor was warm and inviting. It was a place where it was hard to decide whether to go to the beach or just hang out at the house. It has very large decks. From the top deck, the ocean is visible. Surfside is a quiet town and not much going on. If you're looking to get away from it all for a while, this is the place. It's two blocks to the beach and fishing is good on the jetty which is in walking distance. The ac is super cold. The home is decorated nicely and has a beautiful paint job. It has everything you could need. If we thought of it, it was there and in the place you could expect it to be. Big screen tv, cable, etc. The water is no good to drink, so bring your own. There is so much more value than paying the same thing for a best western. If you're thinking about doing this, do it. You won't regret it and the price is right. The Klimpts are honest and good people. Thanks Barbara for sharing such a wonderful place with the world! When we first walked into the home we felt like the people walking into their new home on Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

  We loved the house inside and out. We had 6 adults and 4 children and had plenty of room. We absolutely loved the beach and had a wonderful time playing in the sand and surf. I would highly recommend renting the home. You will not be disappointed.
