Two story beach home located in the Surfside beach community. Beautiful views from all sides of our upper deck. This home is fully loaded for all your sun and fun needs. You will find T.V.s in every room and all the comforts of home. We have a big kitchen and dining area that is equipped with everything you need to enjoy a wonderful grilled steak, or seafood dinner.
Located within a short, two minute walk of the Surfside pedestrian beach where local surfers can be seen both summer and winter. Lots of opportunities for family fun at Jetty Park. Take a stroll to the end of the walkway and watch the dolphins at play.
We are close to the popular restaurants in the area. Enjoy tasty hamburgers and onion rings from the Purple Cow, or a festive night out at the Red Snapper Restaurant. Travel down the Blue Water Highway to the public crabbing pier or charter a deep sea fishing tour. Or maybe you just want to soak up the sun on one of our two decks and enjoy the sights and sounds of a beach get-away.
Whatever your preferences for your vacation, we would like to do our best to accommodate your needs at our Surfside home away from home.

We recently purchased this house after Hurricane Ike destroyed our families three beach houses located at Gilchrist on Bolivar Peninsula. We were impressed with the friendly family atmosphere that Surfside beach has to offer. Our family is proud to call this our new home away from home.

When we walked into this home, we knew we were going to have a great time. The balconies were awesome. If we were not on the the beach we were enjoying the top deck. Great view! There were 8 us us, 4 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of room. We will definately stay here again.

Had my 2 daughters birthday celebrations here and we had a fantastic time. Its a short walk from the beach and there were plenty of places for all of the girls (daughters brought friends) to hang out and sleep. The house was immaculate when we arrived and had everything you could need. Only items to bring would be food, water, paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper and toiletries. The rest is all there such as linens, dishes, kitchen utensils, cleaning products...We loved the place and would love to return!

This home is a very nice home. The decor was warm and inviting. It was a place where it was hard to decide whether to go to the beach or just hang out at the house. It has very large decks. From the top deck, the ocean is visible. Surfside is a quiet town and not much going on. If you're looking to get away from it all for a while, this is the place. It's two blocks to the beach and fishing is good on the jetty which is in walking distance. The ac is super cold. The home is decorated nicely and has a beautiful paint job. It has everything you could need. If we thought of it, it was there and in the place you could expect it to be. Big screen tv, cable, etc. The water is no good to drink, so bring your own. There is so much more value than paying the same thing for a best western. If you're thinking about doing this, do it. You won't regret it and the price is right. The Klimpts are honest and good people. Thanks Barbara for sharing such a wonderful place with the world! When we first walked into the home we felt like the people walking into their new home on Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

We loved the house inside and out. We had 6 adults and 4 children and had plenty of room. We absolutely loved the beach and had a wonderful time playing in the sand and surf. I would highly recommend renting the home. You will not be disappointed.

I rented this house for my kids, their families and my husband and I. There was 9 of us and we had plenty of room. The house was great, the single car garage was super for putting the kaiyak and our beach stuff in after a day at the beach. The hammock was so comfortable in the evenings with the ocean breeze swaying the thing. Two grills for cooking out and we use both for a seafood cookout on Friday. The kitchen awesome, easy moving around enough with 5 adults in there. The up stairs deck is where we gathered every night and sat around and discussed our day and what we would do tomorrow. The house is so designed that you never felt cramped. Some took naps up stairs while others watched T.V. down stairs. The dogs really enjoyed it too. Will be making our reservation for next year in September. A great house and well worth the money.

We all loved it so much! The pictures don't do it justice! So much nicer in person! The beds were very comfy. The AC worked very well. Lots of TV's....TWO DECKS! One of the few houses on surfside to have two decks. We sat on the top deck late into the night, hearing the waves crash, watching fireworks in the distance. Wonderful price for the area, property was well taken care of. I highly recommend it. We slept 6 adults and 3 kids in this house...it was a tight, but it worked out.
