Our spacious beach condominium is located on a gorgeous beach that has a personality of its own. There is no vehicle traffic on this practically private beach, no cars to disturb your swimming, sunbathing, fishing, or your search for that memory making shell collection. You will enjoy the serenity of the sea and the sky – porpoise jumping through the surf, pelicans wing-tip to wing-tip overhead, the horizon freckled with shrimp boats. The large heated swimming pool is surrounded by a spacious deck and comfortable reclining lounge chairs to enjoy the sun after your swim. The small neighborhood behind the building is also good for safe early morning and afternoon walking and bicycling. There are a number of State Parks just minutes away – Gamble Rogers Memorial Park, Tomoka State Park, and the Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park.
When you step into this luxury condo, and onto its hardwood floors, you are immediately greeted by an expansive ocean view framed in large picture windows. This three bedroom, three bath, second floor, end unit is flooded with natural light. The frontmost master bedroom – with king size bed and walk-in shower – overlooks the ocean and pool. Two large windows and two sliding glass doors in the family and dining areas open to the same spectacular view – and to a large wrap-around balcony. A second balcony wraps around master bedroom number two with its panorama of Florida’s beautiful intracoastal, and with its own king size bed. A third master bedroom, with two double beds, also looks out onto the intracoastal. New bathroom vanities give a freshness to each bathroom.
The spacious L shape living area, overlooking the ocean and pool, has room for every member of the family – even when they’re going in opposite directions. There’s lots of room on the couch and love-seat for watching the “Big Game”, a large dining table for the family meal, a second luncheon table for setting out puzzles or playing cards, and a breakfast bar where you enjoy the sun rising above the sea each morning.
With our own large family it’s important to have lots of dishes and cookware. So, the conveniences you will find will be those of a family at home. The large pantry is so handy for getting to food and stealing cookies. The in-house washer and dryer are extremely handy, though there are larger ones available down the hall. Ocean Club’s secured, underground parking gives protection for your cars, and a walk-in storage area in the parking garage will protect your sandy beach gear.
Winter visitors are warmly welcomed by owners and offer weekly bingo and other get togethers. The area has numerous reasonably priced restaurants, Churches and extensive shopping in Flagler, Ormond, Daytona and Palm Coast. Areas of interest are not far away with historic St. Augustine thirty minutes, Disney World and Sea World ninety minutes, Daytona Speedway has an interesting tour, museums and live theater, and Kennedy Space Center are just down the road. We enjoy eating on the water at Flagler pier for breakfast, Ponce Inlet lighthouse for lunch, and St. Augustine’s Santa Maria.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Renting for a 6 month period during Winter Season.
$2000/month (plus 10% Florida State Sales Tax and $120 maid fee)
$200 deposit held in escrow. First months rent must be paid 30 days in
advance. Subsequent months must be paid by the first of the month. When renting
6 months in 2009-10 the sixth month rent will be refunded within 30 days of
final inspection.

Year Purchased: 2000
Dave and Lynne are senior adults who don’t really realize it yet. Dave has a successful State Farm Insurance Agency in Orlando while Lynne’s school teaching days have now transferred into extended family and Church activities. In the early ‘70’s Dave put together a group that built the first condominium on St. Augustine which engrained beach bumming in our children. Ocean View Manor is our fourth condominium and is now used by the family throughout the summer.
Why the Owner Chose Flagler Beach
We had owned a smaller condominium at Flagler some years ago and loved the privacy of this beach so much when we found this larger place we knew it would be a great family retreat. It‘s a little over an hour from our home in central Florida . At the condo we have fun relaxing with walks on the beach, swimming in the pool, playing board games together and doing puzzles plus some good sleeping. We like to travel through the back roads to see the hidden delights of man and nature. Exploring all the areas around has been great fun like touring the Daytona Speedway, going through a chocolate factory, seeing the museums, driving to near by small towns as well as driving next to the ocean on AIA all the way to St Augustine. The kids love fishing and water surfing. Disney, Sea World and the Space Center are not far away. It’s just a great place.
