This beautifully appointed home offers two bedrooms/two baths and was professionally restored in 2004. Located on a quiet street in the exclusive Vista Las Palmas neighborhood, The Fair is an original Alexander mid-century home, built in 1960 with breath taking west-facing views of the San Jacinto Mountains.
This home is centrally located with an easy 10-minute walk to the downtown village of Palm Springs where you will find numerous restaurants, shops, and entertainment. And while no particular celebrity actually owned this home, many did stay here (the house just next door was built for and was the home of Bobby Darin and Sandra Dee for several years).
"Its interior design was inspired during a painstaking year-long restoration, respectful of the classic mid-century post-and-beam architectural value, in 2004. The designer noticed original glass shoji screens and with the owners, native Angelinos, drew inspiration from them in creating for the home a purified Zen-like, Asian decor. Palm Springs Pride!
Guests will enjoy living outside at The Fair as much as inside. Lush shrubbery and palms surround the rear yard and give it total privacy. On the south side are a pool, fountains, and outdoor kitchen. The north side is a park-like yard with a large lawn and a picturesque waterfall. Evenings, while the interior is beautifully lit, the grounds comes alive as well, lighting the huge palms, cactus and desert plants beneath a star-filled deep-blue sky with not a street light in sight!

This Property and it's Management Team, (Grau! Home Management), are fully licensed by the City of Palm Springs, and have a valid Vacation Rental TOT Permit #4522.

You will NOT regret staying at this lovely home! My husband and I stayed at this beautiful property last month and loved every minute of our visit. From the fact that the home had every ammenty you could think of, to the spectacular views of the gorgeous mountains, it was a perfect home for our getaway. It was just the two of us and even though we mostly stayed at home, a few times we took the short walk into the village for coffee and for dinner. We'll definately be back! Enjoy K and J
