The interior is furnished with original art and ample comfortable seating. Perfect for finishing that book or catching 40 winks... Oh yes, and the beds are all feather-top. The decks are where most people relax in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Covered seating at water's edge is the place to watch the goings on of nature and man.

Why the Owner Chose Chattanooga
We purchased this second home because of it's close proximity to our main residence. However, we did take into account that this part of the Tennessee River system is conducive to enjoying all life on the lake can be. Nature watching, boating and the calming effect of the water.
The Unique Benefits at this House
One of the things my family likes best is the fact that you have many choices on getting wet. The lake, the pool or the hot tub. Our place can also be enjoyed any season. Wood burning fireplaces inside and out are perfect for warming your cockles even in the dead of winter.

We loved staying here and didn't want to leave. The house is lovely and the kitchen well-appointed with the necessary amenities. My adult children were drawing straws for the large four-poster bed in one of the guest rooms. My husband loved the memory foam mattress in the master bedroom. We all liked playing games in the dining room, because all six of us had a place at the table. All of us took turns playing air hockey and ping pong in the lower level. Our favorite parts of the property were the pool with the added waterfall feature, the hot tub, and the amazing pathway to the water. We dined al fresco, fished, swam for hours and hours in the pool, and just sat at the end of the dock or in one of the many seating areas, including the hammock, to enjoy the lake. It's a beautiful property and one we would highly recommend to all. Chattanooga is about 30 minutes away, but we really weren't too enticed to leave the house.

For vacation this year, my family (me, wife, and 2 teenage kids) chose to rent this property. And we are very glad we did! The house was perfectly suited for the kind of relaxing getaway we were seeking. As other reviewers have said, the photos do not do justice to the property. The house is furnished in a casual elegance that makes it feel immediately like home. The property was clean and well-maintained. The furniture is comfortable and tasteful. The home is decorated throughout with original art in an eclectic variety of styles. Lots of interesting details invite discovery and provide a sense of whimsy. All of the kitchen appliances are top of the line, and all imaginable cooking utensils and accessories are provided. The downstairs game room/den is spacious and plush. The outdoor entertaining areas are wonderfully landscaped. The pool is sparkling and refreshing. The hot tub is set off in a covered, yet still open and inviting spot. We ate most of our meals on the deck under the screened canopy. An elevated boardwalk leads from the deck to the lakefront, with a covered seating area that is great for a peaceful morning curled up with a book. There are separate sitting nooks and cozy spots scattered all over. The owners are extremely warm, helpful, and hospitable. Although we had not met prior to our rental, the experience made us immediately feel more like friends than simple business clients. On past vacations, we have driven to Orlando on several occasions and rented pool homes. We enjoy visiting the amusement parks there, but the long drive is grueling, we spend so much time going Zoom-Zoom that we never get to actually RELAX, the furnishings are typically lower-grade mass-market condo-quality, and our kids always enjoy playing in their own pool most of all. This year, we decided to try something different. So we went to the lake instead. We found this lovely property just a few short hours from our home, the kids got their pool, mom and dad got some serious rest and relaxation time, and everyone had a great time. And, of course, Chattanooga does offer many near-by, high-quality attractions that aren't quite Disney, but are interesting and entertaining adults and kids of all ages. After a really great week escaping the hectic world of work and busy schedules, it was wonderful returning home after the vacation feeling refreshed and energized instead of harried and worn out from days in the car and being constantly on-the-go.

The pictures don't even come close to showing how great this house is. Beautifully furnished, yet very comfortable. Kitchen very nicely equipped. Two ovens were great for our large family meals. So many "sitting" areas for visiting. Pool and hot tub were great! Owner was a dream to work with it. We will definately come back.

This home is a remarkable place to stay. Our family of friends gathered to celebrate my daughter's 14th Birthday. A celebration it was! The home is very spacious and tastefully done in decor. And the photos do not do justice. We're already to book this place again. One can only imagine how nice it is.

A group of 5 "over 60" ladies spent 3 nights here late October 2010. An awesome house very tastefully decorated. Plenty of space for outdoors entertaining, complete with outdoor fireplace, swimming pool & beautiful boarded walkway down to the lake. Fully furnished kitchen, everything we needed. Very safe neighborhood. I would highly recommend this house.
