The Clam River is well known for it's Trout fishing, located only 1 mile from the property. Morel Mushrooms are a popular spring event and are found on the property.

Why the Owner Chose Cadillac
We decided to rent our home out for others to enjoy as we no longer live in it and have no desire to sell it or leave it sit empty.
The Unique Benefits at this Ranch House
We love to walk through the woods and observe the wildlife, birds and natural beauty. We get together with the kids and grandkids and great grandkids for picnics, bonfires, and cookouts when we can.
Owner's Map of Cadillac
The Whaley family moved to the Cadillac area in the early 1800's there is still a Whaley Rd. where the old farmsteads were located. There is also a book in the library called Whaley's Bakers dozen. Written by Bob Whaleys mother Lucille Whaley. Bob purchased the property that the house now sits on in 1960. He and his father in Law, built the home and he and his wife Sara raised their four children in it. Bob retired in 2007 after working 35 years at Cadillac plumbing and heating. He has re-married after being widowed, to his present wife Jeannette. They moved to her home in Lake City, and began to offer Whaley Acres to families to enjoy.
