This truly is a Tropical Paradise Penthouse! The unit is so beautifully decorated, sophisticated, yet homey and warm. It is obvious a lot of time and effort was put into making this unit not feel like a sterile bland rental unit, but like a true vacation home. The lanai was the best part--I slept on the couch one night feeling the ocean breeze! It was so peaceful and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen fully outfitted, and thoughtful touches like beach chairs and toys. Easy access to a beautiful beach. Owners could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Really couldn't ask for more, and can't wait to return.

Tropical locale leads to dream vacation...

We highly recommend this "tropical penthouse" for anyone's dream vacation. During our stay, we truly felt at home. This unit at Loggerhead has to be one of the best. The tropical decor is very welcoming with vaulted ceilings in the living room, master bedroom and lanai porch. We really liked the master bedroom with a beautiful carved bed that was very comfortable at the end of the day after all our activities. The top floor lanai has a relaxing view and was great for early morning breakfasts and quiet evening dining. We also enjoyed curling up after dinner on the comfortable couch and watched our favorite shows on the large flat screen TV. There is a very short walk for easy access to shoreline beach. Tired of saltwater...enjoy the pool! Full kitchen and laundry area were added features for our extended stay, and we were grateful that they had beach chairs and plenty of towels which made everything easy. We rented a couple of bikes and took numerous bike rides to downtown to grab lunch, buy groceries and do some shopping. It was such a nice ride to enjoy the beautiful weather and so convenient to the condo. Owners were very helpful and accommodating to meet our needs. They were always available for contact.

This property is extremely comfortable and quiet; perfect for a relaxing vacation. As soon as you enter the unit, you get the feeling you are walking into to someone's home...not a piece of rental property. There truly are tons of beach chairs, towels, etc and the kitchen is fully stocked. In looking around the community, it was obvious that this unit is unique...the ceilings are beautiful (even compared to the other "penthouses" in the complex) and the patio was perfect for coffee in the morning and a relaxing meal in the evenings. The grounds of the property are beautifully manicured. The owners were extremely personable and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect prior to and during our stay.

A Very Comfortable Week - and the *Perfect* Porch!

Just spent a week at the "Tropical Penthouse" and had a superb time. The owners of this particular unit really have put effort into making this condo comfortable. The highlight for my wife & I was the porch --- finished beautifully, screened in, and also enclosed with 4 large sliders to let in the Sanibel air - really making it a true extension of the master bedroom, "mood" lighting! (dimmer switch in the living room), and overall just very comfortable. A perfect spot to enjoy some later evening wine and cheese and listen to the waves, enjoy the breeze, and even some stargazing. The master bedroom's bed is large and firm and I need that for my back. I had several nights of great sleep. Our two kids stayed in the second bedroom and something that really impressed me was how soundproof the condo seemed to be. When they kids were in their room with the TV on, couldn't hear a thing, from either the living room area or the master bedroom. In fact, unless the living room TV was really turned up, I couldn't hear that one from the master bedroom either. High vaulted ceilings add to the spacious feeling of the condo. Being a fan of natural wood, the ceilings are gorgeous -- the owners have sandblasted the original swamp-brown paint off to let the beauty of the wood planks show. (Can still see that original paint on the ceiling between the porch sliders and screen...so glad that is the ONLY spot.) Loggerhead Cay is a great spot to enjoy Sanibel from, and this unit is top floor / corner - so not a lot of "noisy neighbor" experiences. We did have two nights of partying young adults immediately below us, but could shut out most of the sound by keeping the sliders closed. The kitchen is fully functional and the oven & stove work great - but my wife and I would agree the best feature is the sink, deep / huge and really easy to work in. Oh, and the parking spot is under a large tree with great shade, too. Kind of icing on the cake in the summer... My family and I are really looking forward to our next stay at the Tropical Penthouse!

We stayed at this condo for the week of July 4th. This condo was absolutely beautiful! As soon as we walked through the front door, we were in love with it! The interior decor was so classy and it gave you a very warm feeling. I especially loved the high ceilings and the back patio! The owners left us extras like beach towels, chairs, pool and beach toys. The kitchen was also stocked with every pan or dish that we needed. We had such a good time here! We will be back next year at this condo for sure! Thank You to the owners for all your help and for allowing us to stay at your home!

Perfect Beach Getaway

We were looking for a relaxing trip to a warm climate to meet up with family who all live in different states. We fell in love with this condo as soon as we walked in the door. It was so inviting, clean and had a stylish but beachy feel. It was enjoyable to be in a cozy home instead of a sterile hotel room. We were impressed with the large space and how it housed all 5 of us so comfortably. It's also very quiet and peaceful which helped us relax. While we loved going to the beach and pool during the day we found ourselves enjoying our quiet evenings at the condo just as much as our beach time. We loved cooking big dinners in the kitchen, playing cards at the table and spending quality time together. I've recommended this condo to several of my friends. We are planning another trip back and hope to make it an annual tradition! The owners were extremely helpful and accomodating to all of our needs and questions. We feel so lucky to have found our beach getaway and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! Loggerhead Cay is a beautiful, peaceful, well kept community. This unit was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, well maintained, and had all the amenities we needed. The owners thought of the extra details like having towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and sand toys. They left information on local attractions, and maps of the area. The interior is stunningly beautiful and tastefully decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of room to relax while not at the beach. Eating or relaxing on the lanai, overlooking the ocean was an added treat. We rented bikes and found the bike paths very good in getting around the area. The owners were extremely helpful in giving us tips on places to sightsee, eat, shop, and just relax. We hope to get back this year and would definitely rent this unit.

We had such a great visit here last year. We want to return again this year and hope we can work our schedule out to again stay at your condo. It is so relaxing to just be there, walk on the beach, shop at the stores and eat the wonderful food at the many restaurants close to Loggerhead Cay. What a realxing getaway for my wife and me. The place is so tastefully decorated and just beautiful surroundings. Am great value and a wonderful experience, as well. Thanks again!

Bob and I are all settled in at your very lovely condo! We actually arrived early enough to unpack and grocery shop so we're set for a very restful week or so. Your home is just beautiful. I must tell you, we have stayed at Loggerhead Cay for the past three years and your unit is by far the most beautiful we have rented. It is just lovely...the furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. Sitting on the lanai and looking out at the palm trees and gulf is absolutely relaxing and just what we needed.
