Ocean side - Sea Winds Unit #19. Welcome to paradise! Our unit is a two story townhouse situated half-way between the pool/Jacuzzi and the private boardwalk over the dunes to the beach. Tastefully decorated as a tropical, seaside retreat it is truly a place to relax and enjoy all that historic St. Augustine has to offer. Your vacation can range from just relaxing by the pool or beach to being packed full of the many attractions and activities in the St. Augustine area. Imagine having breakfast on you own private lanai off the living room and gazing out at the fountains in the lagoon while the occasional heron or egret wades by. Then a short walk to the boardwalk and over the dunes to a wide, flat beach that stretches for miles. Go jogging, amble slowly, dive in , or just plop down on the pristine white sand and feel all the tension of your "other life" dissolve. You like shopping? Just a short drive to Old St. Augustine puts you in the middle of the restored Old City full of shops and boutiques. Outlet malls are also close by . Be the consummate tourist and enjoy the original Ripley's, the Fountain of Youth (a fascinating archeological site - not a tourist trap), the fort, museums, trolley rides (very informative and affordable), the Alligator Farm and more! Plus you are within easy driving distance of Cape Canaveral, Marine Land, and a day trip to Orlando is not out of the question
Our 1200 sq. ft. unit has an attached garage with Sea Winds being one of the few complexes to make such a boast. On the first floor find a laundry room , a convenient, newly renovated half bath, a fully equipped kitchen (for when you decide to not take advantage of the local cuisine), breakfast bar, dining/living room area and, of course, the lanai. Included in the living room are a sofa bed, an electric fireplace and a cozy nook for when you just wish to curl up with a book. There is also a notebook containing sample menus of local restaurants and information on local attractions. Forgot to bring a book? There are some located in the cabinet under the TV.
Upstairs you will find the roomy master suite featuring a queen size bed, a newly renovated bathroom, large closets and a new balcony overlooking the lagoon. Down the hall is the second bathroom and a bedroom holding two twin beds. Off this bedroom is a private deck featuring recliners for sunbathing and a drying rack for wet swim suits. By the way, a grocery store is located just a minute or two from the complex.

Why the Owner Chose Sea Winds
We chose to buy at Sea Winds because of the beauty and charm of the grounds and that fact that it is a smaller complex. No wild parties... just peace and calm. We love the city St. Augustine because it has so much to offer being the oldest continually inhabited city in North America. History seems to come alive in so many places. All our children have enjoyed the beach - boogie boards, surfing, sand castles and shells.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Our unit overlooks the lagoon as do other units, but our view also extends to an area directly across from us that is open and contains palm trees and hibiscus. We are one of the few units that is not facing another unit across the lagoon. The fountains in the lagoon provide beauty and add to the tranquility. The lanai is a favorite place to eat, relax, read, and ponder. We've had great conversations just sitting, watching the water and the egrets and herons.

Hi, I'm Mike and I'm with my wife Susan and our younger son Christian. We also have an older son Geoff (27) and daughter Beth who is a TV weekend anchor in Charleston, W.V. I am a High School Spanish teacher and my wife Susan is a nurse. We have been vacationing in St. Augustine Beach for over twenty five years and seven years ago decided to buy with a look to future retirement. We love the instant relaxation we feel when we come to St. A. ...even when we are busy updating the condo! Walks on the beach are something special that make you feel in tune with all that is good.
