If you choose to leave Paradise Ranch all the area attractions are less than 15 minutes from the property. Wolf Creek ski lodge is a quick right turn off Hiway 84 bypassing all the Pagosa Springs downtown traffic.
Paradise Ranch Lodge is newly remodeled and beautifully furnished. You and your family will enjoy every luxury detail from luxury bedding to flat screen TV's. There is a surround sound stereo system thru out the property. Optional maid service and snow plowing is available. We want to insure our guests have a wonderful vacation experience, truly a home away from home. The property has a fenced yard, private gated entrance, and horse facilities. It is the perfect location for family vacations/reunion/weddings/hunters; a true Colorado mountain experience.
Only a few minutes to the largest world class Hot Springs, unique shopping,skiing and dining. Pagosa Springs is home of Parelli Horsemanship, Horse Drawn Sleighs, Horse Back Riding, Chuck Wagon Suppers, Red Ruder Rodeo every Thursday Eve in the summer months, ski/snowboard/snowmobile at Wolf Creek Ski Area on the top of the Continental Divide which boast the most snow in Colorado, several rivers/lakes to choose your water sport, 36 hole golf course, hundreds of hiking/biking trails, hot air balloon fest, 4 Corners Folk Festival, Bluegrass Fest, the Best 4th of July Parade in the area & Fabulous Fireworks, Music in the Mountains, Community Theater, Wildlife Park, Antique/Hot Rod Car Shows, Bike Tour of Colorado, just to name a few activities in the area. Fresh clean air, Pagosa Springs offers something for everyone whether you want to be an adventurist or just relax.
This charming ranch house has two king suites with a total of five bedrooms and 3 full baths. Two of the bathrooms have walk in steam showers. The first master king bedroom has an oversized king bed, a 42 inch flat screen tv, his and her closets, a spacious bathroom with a walk in steam shower. The second king bedroom is over 400 square feet with a decor of European ambiance with a romantic chandilier over the bed. This bedroom has a built in flat screen tv with separate satellite viewing. The third bedroom is a queen four poster bed with a private wash basin. The decor is french twall with a very romantic intimate theme. The bedding was recently featured on the front cover of Southern Accents magazine. The fourth bedroom is fit for a little princess(actually one stays there quite frequently...) with a full size pillow top mattress, a 20 inch flat screen tv/dvd combo with all the movies to go with it. The fifth bedroom is decorated in denim and black bears. It has a one set of luxurious pillow-top bunk beds with a trundle pull out for sleeping arrangements.
Paradise Ranch has three separate living areas, two with its own fire places. The first living area has a gas fireplace with a panaramic bay window seating area. The room is 48 feet long and the living space ajoins a formal dining room with a 10 foot formal table. The total sit down seating for a family meal totals 22, and the cabin is stocked with the tablewear and cooking utensils to make and serve a feast for a very large group. The formal dining room has an entry way into a sitting room that is solid glass that exits to the back yard. A full size sofa bed can be used in this room as addl. sleeping arrangements are needed. The second living room has a real wood burning fireplace that creates the perfect mountain cabin ambiance. This room doubles as a media room with a 52 inch plasma flat screen,a blu ray DVD, a DVR, and media room recline seating. There is also a separate dining area that provides a game table or addl. sit down eating area for up to 8 people while watching the big screen.
The entire upstairs is a kids game room complete with a flat screen tv with separate DVR and TV viewing, along with a another flat screen TV dedicated to gaming. The game room has a Wii player with a few games as well. There is a full size futon that can convert to a bed, a portble crib and a recliner sleeper as well. There are also more than a few toys to play with as well...
There is a double car attached garage and a separate mud room entrance in the cabin as well. The cabin is surrounded by wild flowers, aspens, large beautiful colorado pines and the san juan mountains--and the upper rio blanco river runs thru the property. The property is gated entry and completely fenced, it is a very private home with no direct neighbors.. yet completely accessable from the main highway. Paradise Ranch is an outstanding rental opportunity.

The Unique Benefits at this Lodge
The home is 10 minutes away from downtown Pagosa and the world famous Hot Springs, 20 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski lodge and everything inbetween. The property is set apart from the world surrounded in a Paradise all of its own...yet minutes from any activity you would want to do.A fenced property creates a safe place for your children to play with the river and mountains within walking distance from your house. You can ride your horse out the back gate of your own back yard and go to the top of a Mountain if you choose to do so. We can hunt out the back door and fish out the front.

We are a family of three with an extended family of siblings totaling 18. The ranch is a perfect place for our families to gather and our kids to enjoy each other bonding as cousins. Marie and I enjoy all the seasons of Pagosa Springs and our daughter Lilly would rather be at the ranch than anywhere else we travel. We hope you enjoy our property as much as we do!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Paradise Ranch this past January. The name says it all. The home is decorated beautifully and makes you feel like you are staying in a 5 star resort. My family was able to spread out with the wonderful game room. My husband and friends enjoyed watching a movie while sitting by the warm fire. The kitchen had everything we needed. Paradise Ranch has lots of nice upgrades. My kids loved the outdoor landscape, this was their first time to Colorado and to see snow. The house backs up to national forest where we hicked up hills to go sledding. Our stay was one that we will remember and we will defiantly make Paradise Ranch our Colorado home. This is a great house for the cost, you will not be disappointed!

This property is very serene. The land and house are so beautiful, you never want to leave. The house was able to accommodate our large family with a comfortable, cozy, and inviting atmosphere that you would expect from a Colorado experience! Our family spent a week here last summer. We had an incredible vacation!! The big beautiful home and the grounds are a perfect luxury getaway. The interior of the home is way beyond any luxury hotel. This is the ideal destination for families, family reunions, girls getaway, hunters, couples or ANYONE! We have traveled extensively in the states and abroad, so we are very particular of the places we choose. This Colorado estate is by far our favorite!! The views are breath taking. The property offers so much privacy and is located in the midst of the beautiful Colorado mountains, yet it is so close to many fun excursions that are available in that area. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone! This Pagosa Springs Lodge is a definite must!!

This beautiful place was recommended to us by our best friends who had previously stayed there last summer. The home was obviously professionally decorated and very well taken care of. The view was simply breathtaking. This was the perfect spot for our honeymoon. Thank you and we will see you again next winter!!!!!!!

I am glad to see that you took the misleading info about the game room and bunk house off of your site.I wouldn't want other people with alot of kids,having to be cramped together the way we were.The house is beaufitul,but when we picked it we picked it based on the info provided and to get there and not have the things that was listed was very disappointing.Not to mention the added expence we had when the water filters were not working for the first 3 days.We had to buy alot of water for coffee,tea,etc.,for 16 people.I would return once the bunkhouse is finished,if we ever make it back that way.
Owner response:I am so sorry to hear you were disappointed with our game room and bunk house. We adjusted our VRBO ad as quickly as we could. Unfortunately, the damages to the game room items were done by a previous guest and we did not have enough time to respond before your arrival. We also revised our VRBO ad on the bunk house once we saw that it could possibly be mis-leading as another option for sleeping arrangements. (We are planning to remodel the bunk house sometime in the future.) I am sorry you were inconvenienced by the drinking water filters. We called a plumber immediately after you contacted us with the problem during the weekend, and were able to get a plumber out Monday morning to fix the problem. It is always a good idea to bring drinking water as a precaution. I am sorry you and your guests were inconvenienced.

An amazing vacation property with awesome views of the Colorado mountains and countryside. We had an awesome time staying in this beautifully decorated, well appointed mountain lodge. Great location just minutes from downtown Pagossa Springs for dining, shopping, or enjoying the hot springs resort. Also just minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Resort.
