This brand new, romantic cabin is located on a bluff overlooking the world famous Yellowstone River in the heart of Gardiner, Montana and is only about 2 blocks from the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Gardiner is the northern entrance to Yellowstone and is the only entrance that is open year round. Location is everything and we certainly have it! You will love looking out on the deck and viewing the river below! We also have views far into Yellowstone and you have a great view of Electric Peak, one of the tallest mountains in Yellowstone, all 10,967 ft. of it!
The handcrafted cabin offers a complete kitchen with its own bar height seating, and has 2 bedrooms. The complete floor of the cabin is hardwood and looks and feels great ! The master bedroom has a queen bed, and second bedroom consists of 2 full size beds. The cabin also has a separate bathroom. The kitchen is fully furnished ( should you want to cook) and features all new appliances including a built in microwave and a coffee maker, toaster and blender. You will also enjoy the bar height seating as you enjoy the views! From the living room,that includes a couch ( that opens up as a sofa bed) and flat screened TV, you enter the deck that opens up to the Yellowstone River. You will simply fall in love with the sound of the river below!

From my place you can easily walk to the many restaurants, bars and gift shops Gardiner has to offer. We are a small town but we do have a grocery store, pharmacy and post office. Being in town saves you time and money as well. If you choose a house 10 of 15 miles away from town it will cost more money and time just coming and going! Plus we are so close to Yellowstone as it is about 2 blocks away! The cabin is a great base camp for your Yellowstone vacation! Our closeness to Yellowstone combined with our views is second to none!
2. The Yellowstone River! Walking out onto the deck and looking down on the river is priceless! The river is fast flowing and makes the best sound! You will love waking up with a good cup of coffee and listening to the river! Simply amazing views from the cabin! The deck also offers bar height seating so you can enjoy the view even more!
3. The Deck! the deck offers a great place to not only view the river and mountains but also offers a place to relax as well. You can also cook out on the gas grill and enjoy your meal here as the deck also has bar height seating. Great place to just get away from it all! WHAT I LIKED BEST WAS THIS CABIN WAS IN TOWN AND WE COULD WALK WHERE WE NEEDED TO GO. WE WALKED TO EAT AND SHOP AND IT MADE OUR VACATION SO MUCH EASIER. THE CABIN WAS CLEAN AND HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED AND THEN SOME. THE CABIN IS ON THE RIVER SO THE VIEWS WERE STUNNING !! I ENJOYED HAVING MY MORNING COFFEE ON THE DECK AS IT WAS SO PEACEFUL !! MR. BURTON OUR HOST WAS VERY GRACIOUS AND HELPED US IN SO MANY WAYS . I WOULD GLADLY RECOMMEND THIS CABIN. WE ENJOYED OUR STAY SO MUCH !!

The cabin truly was nice ! so clean and was right on the Yellowstone River !! so peaceful ! cabin had everything we needed and was decorated so cute !! After exploring all day we liked the fact that we could walk where ever we needed to in town, it made things so much easier !! our host, Mr. Burton was very cordial and nice to deal with and he gave good advice on where to visit and eat ! the kitchen was fully loaded and had what we needed, washer and dryer worked fine, dishwasher as well. Would go back in a second !! having a morning cup of coffee on that deck was so nice !

MY HUSBAND AND I STAYED HERE THIS SUMMER AND WE ENJOYED IT SO MUCH ! THE VIEW FROM THE RIVER WAS THE BEST ! IT PUT ME TO SLEEP EVERY NIGHT ! THE CABIN WAS CLEAN AND THE KITCHEN HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. IT HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED FROM WASHER AND DRYER TO THE DISHWASHER. Spent a week here with the family and to my knowledge this place just had a facelift with new appliances. Had the feel of new and very clean. The whole serenity out here is great and to top it off with a fantastic view off the Yellowstone River on the back deck. We had lot's of bbq's while watching river rafters splashing and hitting rappids. Did bump into Henry Winkler from Happy Day's on the Yellowstone River while fly fishing. The host Z. Burton went out his way to make our stay the most amazing ever... true southern hospitality! Did rain a little and had to either eat out or stay in... with the kids and me and the wife tired of non stop exploring...we decided to eat in with the full on kitchen that has everything from everything! Plus endless channels for the kids to watch made our vacation a great closer. Z.Burton is and will always be on my mind when it come coming out here to the Northern Rockies!!!

The one thing that I can say about this rental is that it was clean. Now that that's out of the way, the owner's idea of "fully furnished kitchen" is refrigerator w/o ice maker, stove, microwave, coffee pot & one large, dull knife & no serving spoons. It didn't even have a toaster or blender as listed, let alone a dishwasher! No one wants to come back after hiking all day & have to wash dishes for a crowd after making dinner. The bbq grill was no where to be found & we had to ask the owner about it & he had one of us assist him in bringing it back over from next door because he had "borrowed" it. We had to ask twice for tp & still ended up supplying ourselves because the 2-rolls at a time that we were given went fast! Washer & dryer are listed ,but no, they are not at the property, they are two blocks away at the laundery mat. As for the "central air", I guess in Montana that's what they refer to when you open all the windows in the house, because there was no AC & the house became hot after having to cook on the stove (until we could get the grill) & washing dishes in hot water & the outside temp was mid 80's. For heat all we could find were baseboard heaters, no main thermostat. I personally wouldn't want to stay there in the winter. The deck looking over the river was the high point of the property, but doesn't even come close to making up for the "false advertising".

We stayed here for a week while visiting Yellowstone. It is a great location since it's only a few blocks from the North entrance of Yellowstone. The cabin has a deck that overlooks the Yellowstone river, which is a great way to start the day. However, the cabin does not have everything that is advertised. It does not have a washer or dryer. So, we had to take a trip to the laundromat which is never fun after a day of hiking. The kitchen is also not fully loaded. It does not have a blender or toaster. It has one dull knife for cutting and no serving utensils. We improvised and had to use a mug for a ladle. There was no can opener and no dishwasher. After being exhausted from the day and fixing dinner, who wants to wash dishes? We also had to bring our own paper towels, as they were not provided. We had to ask twice for toilet paper and ended up using some of our own. There was no grill and had to ask about it. The owner brought his over and told us if it ran out of gas that we could fill it up and he'd reimburse us. Again, not something we wanted to spend our time doing. The WIFI stopped working and had to go to the internet cafe and pay to use theirs. We didn't know where to put our trash and stacked outside hoping it wouldn't be bear bait. There is no a/c and the windows don't have screens on them. As you know the bugs in Montana are big. Overall we were not pleased. The posting claims that the cabin has more than it does. If we would have known in advance we would have either found a different place or come more prepared.
