Each room has a chandelier, quality mattresses, luxurious hotel linens, down pillows and quilts. Generous size closets with ample storage. The bathroom has a soaker tub/shower combo, offering french milled soaps, quality hair products and hair dryer. The bathroom can accommodate two people easily.
The suite is equipped with a Sony Television, stereo with iPod docking station, DVD player and complimentary high speed internet. In the kitchen you'll be please to find Kitchen Aid small appliances and all the required necessities to cook a home cooked meal. We also provide all the condiments and kitchen essentials to make your stay more convenient. The daily dish ware is Royal Dalton with a lovely mix of collectibles.
This suite is exactly what you'd expect to see off the streets of Paris! No need to worry about laundry as there is in suite washer and dryer. This is a suite you'll be so impressed with and will not want to leave. Upon arrival there will be complimentary water bottles and Starbucks coffee. There is a deck off the private entry with a table and chairs set, should you wish to extend your space.
The suite sits upon the well known and lovely little shop "Sweet Peas at home" which is a boutique style shop offering the looks of Shabby Chic, Garden & Cottage, French and Classic Country decors. The only one of it's kind in the city. The off street parking accommodates 2 cars during your stay.

Why the Owner Chose Victoria
Seven years ago we purchased this building so I could pursue a dream and open a home decor business. This accommodation sits upon that retail space. It has always been rented out on a monthly basis to University students. When we purchased the building we did several renovations to get it to where people could comfortably live in it. It had been sadly neglected over the years. After selling the shop, I decided to set it up as a vacation rental,as I had a burning desire to decorate it and give it the integrity it had deserved! All that was required were my personal touches. The space is a wonderful, bright and perfectly laid out space with great charm. The 8 1/2 foot ceilings are just one of its characters. Being a 1912 building, it has stood the test of time and aged very gracefully. It smells good too! No musty old odor at all. The minute I drove up to the building seven years ago I knew I had to have it! It was perfect for the type of shop I had in mind. I successfully ran the store for six years and recently sold it in February. That's when I decided it was time to gussie it up and do vacation rentals. Being a mother of four and a family of six, going on vacation can be a bit tricky! Finding a space large enough to accommodate all of us, with the same quality and luxuries of home is not easy. Being passionate about interior design, I was determined to make this space the home away from home so many people are looking for. The neighborhood is a quaint residential area with tree lined streets and heritage homes. Walking distance to everything makes this property so desirable.
The Unique Benefits at this Suite
The location and the decor. I feel like I'm at home. The space has such a good feeling when your in it. Beautiful furnishings and all the luxuries one could ask for on a vacation and the best part is that you can walk every where! There is no need to drive. The neighborhood is so charming and everyone is very friendly. Having morning coffee on the deck below is pleasant while the rest of the family sleeps in. One block away is the Cook St. Village which offers cafes, bistros, groceries, liquor store, pharmacy, a pub and many more shops.
Here you'll be pleased to find cafes, bistros, liquor store, pharmacy etc.. A quaint little village will hustle and bustle. A five minute walk.
Here you'll be sure to find some treasures. There are a couple auctions houses that run weekly as well.
The Willow stream spa is the best in the city. Call in advance and book you appt.
Blocks and blocks of shopping, clothes, house wares, sporting shops, specialty store etc.

My husband was born and raised in Victoria and just knew he had to raise his children here. We moved here form Vancouver and have never looked back. Victoria is one of the most beautiful city's and has so much to offer. Great restaurants, galleries, shopping, and enough activities to make everyone happy. When we head downtown we're always amazed as to how lucky we are to be living in such a clean, safe and friendly city, that is known and respected all around the world. Relying largely on tourism, the city is always creating great venues for the visitors. For us, as a family, it's important when we go on a vacation that there's a lot to do and Victoria is a place that we would not be disappointed with.
