This spacious New Smyrna beach condo/townhouse is centrally located to the three regional airports (Orlando MCO- 1hr 15m, Daytona DAB- 40m, Sanford SFB-30m) yet is situated in a great spot on the Eastern Florida coast. This particular beach location is frequented by Florida natives because of its natural beauty and peacefulness.
New Smyrna is an ideal location for people who want to enjoy Orlando's theme parks for a few days and then make the short drive to the beach to complete their Florida vacation. New Smyrna Beach is car-free and the flat and smooth sand makes long walks enjoyable especially with the seemingly constant cool breezes. This beach is perfect for bodysurfing, shelling and making sand castles in the soft white sand that stretches for miles.
The Southeaster ocean-front condo complex has two large pools, one of which is heated, and two toddler pools, one of which is also heated. Amenities include two tennis courts, basketball hoops as well as two shuffle board courts. There is a large kid-friendly grassy ocean-front courtyard great for family activities. The complex also features a recreation room with a small collection of books and magazines, a TV, and a pool and ping-pong table. Wi-Fi internet is available in the recreation room free of charge. Located right outside the recreation room is a laundry facility complete with ice machine.
This unit underwent extensive renovations in early 2009 including the replacement of all windows and glass sliders along with the interior paint and furnishings. This condo is conveniently located beyond the pool and community areas which put it closer to the beach and also slightly away from the activity areas.
After all the summer fun during the day, New Smyrna has many venues including restaurants, beach shops and various stores to meet your needs. Publix, Food Lion, Walgreens, CVS and Walmart are located within minutes of the Southeaster.

My family has rented this unit 3 or 4 times and absolutely love it! The unit is very kid friendly and I love the upstairs "dormitory" for kids. Waking up in the master with a full view of the ocean is spectacular as well as the view from the downstairs balcony. We have stayed at many places in New Smyrna but the size and location of Southeaster is ideal. Two huge pools with a baby pool that is never overcrowded and a great grass play area for baseball! The manager for this condo was great to deal with and because she was offsite, I was given a cell phone to get a hold of her with any emergencies that may arise. I would highly recommend this unit!
Recommended for:Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This is a great little condo for a family get away to enjoy the beautiful beaach. We loved the pools, especially the baby pools which made life easier. The location is right on the water (can hear the waves crashing while your sleeping at night) and there is a great balcony overlooking the beach as well. The location is great since its close to dining and shopping centers. Will definitely go back!

We loved the place and hope to stay longer next time. I have also shared your site with several people and hopefully some have called to inquire. I get very busy but truly enjoy New Smyrna. So would love to do a weekend here and there if your unit is ever available.

Just wanted to tell you what a wonderful weekend we had. The complex is beautiful and just what we were looking for. I think we did a little bit of everything and although the shuttle didn't cooperate, the weather certainly did! Thank you again for the flexibility of staying into the afternoon on Sunday - we had a ball!
