At Hawk’s Perch, you get both without ever having to get in the car. Perhaps the most appealing aspect of this getaway is the elevator, which provides access to all 3 floors. As you enter on the first floor, you’ll ascend the staircase to the living room with its spacious sectional sofa before the vast 50-inch flat-screen TV equipped with a DVD/VHF player. The living room has seating for 8. Just steps away is the dining area with a table for seating for 6 and countertop barstool seating for 3. The spectacular gourmet kitchen offers granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a two basin sink, fridge, electric stove and range, coffee maker, taster, blender and a pantry. Step through the French doors to the deck and take in the stunning view of the Gulf. Here you can relax with cocktails after a long day at the beach. Afterward, head on down to the legendary Red Bar or Shorty’s for the perfect plate of grouper.
Each of the four bedrooms in Hawk’s Perch has its own private bath. A half-bath is just off the hallway from the dining and living rooms. Three of the bedrooms have king beds, and one bedroom is equipped with two single beds. The first bedroom is on the second floor. It has a king bed, a bureau, spacious closet, chair, a small TV with a DVD/VHF player. The bath has a walk-in shower and granite vanity countertop. The laundry room is just down the hall and has a front-loading washer and dryer, ironing board and iron. The second bedroom is on the third floor and has two single beds with gorgeous wrought-iron frames and a large closet. The private bath has a walk-in shower, granite vanity countertop, porcelain sink and a closet. The third bedroom has a king bed, beautiful original art work, bureau, reading chair, night stands, a small TV and a closet. The private bath has a Jacuzzi tub to soothe away aching muscles, a walk-in shower with two shower heads, travertine tile floors, and a vanity with a granite countertop. Step out onto the deck, which has seating for 5, for a great view of the Gulf and Grayton beach. The fourth bedroom has a king bed, a small TV with a DVD/VHF player, bureau, chair closet and deck access through the French doors. The private bath offers a shower/tub combo and a granite vanity.
