Great vacation rental in best Saugatuck location! One of just a few private homes on the Oval Beach Road, this classic three-story cottage with guest house is nestled into the side of a wooded sand dune. In a great location surrounded by woods and walking trails, Oval Beach Cottage is steps from the Kalamazoo River, Saugatuck's chain ferry, and a 1/4 mile down the road from the beautiful Oval Beach. There are four bedrooms and 2.5 baths in the main house. A fabulous wrap-around screen porch offers tree-top views of the river and town of Saugatuck, and there is a hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. A large living/dining area with a cozy wood burning stove makes this a great house for entertaining. Modern conveniences mixed with country antiques add to Oval Beach Cottageās warmth and charm.
Just up a wooded path is the guest house (Acorn), a charming one-room log cabin that is perfect for two. Acorn has barn-beam cathedral ceilings, a fireplace, full kitchen and bath, and a spacious deck high up in the tree-tops.
This is truly a delightful spot.
